Nice to hear Freddie hasn't shut the door in returning to Wolves some time in the future, but his main focus is trying to become world champion in the next couple of years.

Bit of an understatement that I'd say when most Clubs can't survive on 100% gates and receipts and rely on sponsorship and advertising and even then most make a loss and rely on Promoter / Owners to make out of cover losses. Glasgow perfect example rely totally on great support of Faceena family

There were 3 junior meetings last weekend and League one (their third tier) is up and running. These are meetings where crowds of under 100 ard the norm.

It'd be nice to work to the schedule I am meant to this weekend, we are at the fourth week of the season and I still haven't yet

I tried for Follingsby Park in 1996, talking to I think Bernard Thorpe Agents? in Jesmond. I knew they had a redundant shale pit heap at the very back of their main site beside Wardley, but not interested and I think they went on to develop it in keeping with the usual trades and activities. BTW, the interest in Cambois is not the dog track.

Generally ok for tomorrow in Lublin and Gorzow but there is a chance of a thunderstorm or two, which can be dodgy if hitting the stadiums.

Plus Scotland are at least 4 weeks behind the rest of the UK in relaxing lockdown. Taking that football down south estimate no fans until at least September , and even then that is on the basis that there are no spikes in the virus then October for any sport up here is unlkely. Lets be realistic this season as we all thought is a write off. Making the early call to write the season off by Glasgow looks to be the correct one.

Almost 40 miles for home meetings? Very doubtful.

With a normal hear schedule Heat 9 and 10 have one reserve from each team. You are also correct that there is no dedicated nr 1 but that teams can choose freely how to place their 5 best riders. Reserves can be non Swedish riders as well. Normally the home team put their best riders at 1,3 & 5. Also unlike Britain, averages are updated after every meeting so reserves can change from one meeting to another. https://ta.svemo.se/Public/Pages/Competition/DrivingSchedule/CompetitionHeatSchema.aspx?Branch=Speedway&Season=2019&Serie=Elitserien&Resultfilter=APPROVED&Columns=FromDateShort,Name,HeatSchema,HeatResult&pagesize=20&CompetitionId=10771 The heat schedule this year will look like this, not sure if there are other rule changes as well due to the new format. Heat 13 -15 will have riders based on their scoring, with the two lowest scoring from each team in h13 and highest scoring in h15.

For me, the biggest and most important step is for the UK to stand alone, away from the global sector of the sport. Fundin said that those who progress to the GP's should then move out of UK domestic racing to free up places for others coming through.. The two worlds of Poland and the UK are you could say 'poles apart' so why the UK still clings on to the odd GP star or two is beyond me.. As all it does is unbalance the league anyway, raise overall costs for those who then try and compete with teams with GP riders, create inconsistent fixture lists to accommodate them, and often mean guest replacements when fixtures cant be rearranged which impacts the whole credibility of the league. When the UK sees itself in it's true position, as that of a stepping stone to greater financial rewards and global fame for those who progress through it, it can then rebuild itself a framework that is fit for purpose to grow the sport in the UK.. Not holding my breath obviously.. Too many egos involved who refuse to accept that the UK are simply not important, or influential anymore, in the grand scheme of things globally I think to let it happen.. The irony being of course is that if they had a very successful GB team their influence on the global stage would grow accordingly, with wider UK media interest also growing the same.. The UK should be a conveyor belt for UK talent to progress through to the top level, which will then have the knock on effect of increased public interest, which can only then benefit the domestic leagues accordingly.. Like the RFU and TCCB acknowledged many years ago now when their domestic sports were respectively somewhat in the doldrums, a successful National team brings in the interest, sponsorship and crowds which then permeates down to the domestic level of competition.. A blueprint worth following I would suggest..

Yes Zengi is still injured- he was lucky not to lose his foot- some horrific photo`s exist of how it looked.

Miedzinski is effectively “doubling up” with Rybnik. He has featured in their first match but scored 0. I think I’m right in saying Zengota is still ‘injured’ after a quite serious ankle injury and is ruled out for the whole of this season at the very least.

To be fair Dave I don't know when, where or what was looked at in Cambois... I came across the dog track by accident and floated the idea on here... its a cracking site just in the wrong place... but one thing is for sure as Steve Park said it won't be easy getting a suitable site and the relevant permissions to develop it... I just hope the dogs don't go down the route of running Sunday meetings because it will make everything Rob is trying to achieve all that more difficult... Regards THJ
