Having spoken to the main man the rider in question will fit into the team as per the rules on the day he is announced. Just hope they don't announce him before they announce the new rules.

Even with a reduction his average would still be 8.00. I expect there will be a new 10% reduction rule added for New Zealander’s to encourage more of them to ride in Britain for this season to make him fit though, don’t panic.

Because Klindt has a Polish team place, and the worsening covid situation there has raised the possibility (note it is only a possibility) that riders might have to be based in Poland with further travel restrictions making riding in the UK and Poland impossible.

Ahhh... The rules will be changed to suit, weeks after every other team is finalised Honestly that would not surprise me...

and it still exists !! The MDL came first , then the SDL then it amalgamated to become the MSDL and will be running in 2021

So what are they classing as the ‘ juniors ‘ in this scenario ? National League riders ? MDL/NJL riders ? or have they a box of brand new juniors ready to ride one or two rides a week or 4 possibly 5 matches ( 10 rides ? ) this season ? Sounds like they have just come up with a new name for something that already existed at most tracks to me only vastly watered down.

The only stumbling block I can see is international travel from the UK is banned at the moment and with the virus on the rise again in Europe that’s Is looking as if that could stay in place longer . Things of course could change . Lawson is the obvious choice and he will be available each meeting as Riss could have major travel problems and not be available each meeting and in all honesty I’d thought a Brit should be employed first .

When I used to run home/direct delivery services way back, all the deliverers had a printed out list of customer addresses rather than having to scrawl anything on the item!. Deliverers were also instructed to push the item all the way through the letter box and not leave it 'sticking out'!

It's you who missed the point. Yet you so nearly get there, and then completely miss. As you say, the BSP Limited has the right to choose whether to employ a rider or not. If they choose not to employ someone who is riding/has ridden with a rival organisation that's their prerogative. They are breaking no laws. But no one said they did! A rider is completely free to go and ride for whatever alternative organisation the Isle of Wight club might propose to race under. All we are saying is that such a rider would have to be prepared for the BSP Ltd to say, if you're riding for another organisation, you're not riding for us.

yes pretty sure it was Scott Courtney @Betwick he wanted to run a mini GP series around a few tracks through the MCF federation which is like the acu but cheaper to run events and mostly used by MX clubs but the clubs were told if they ran at there stadiums there scb licence would be revoked

Absolute nonsense. The BSPA choosing not to use the services of a rider who rides for a rival organisation is no different to someone choosing not to buy cosmetics from a company that tests their products on animals, or a vegetarian boycotting McDonalds.

Surely if the Stars management showed some ambition like Sheffield have more fans would be there, which would bring in more £s. Seems like we are back to the olden days where Kings Lynn end up with the riders that no other teams want.

I think you're going to see in the next few seasons if it will be the case, and unfortunately I think you'll be right, potentially good riders won't give it a go.I can't see the continuation of the conveyor belt we've started over the last 5 years with the lads who are making it to the premiership and championship , Kemp, Brennan, Palin plus about 20 others on the way to that point and instead of trying to bring more youngsters in will have the opposite effect unless they've substantial backing.

This Rising Star thing is a joke; its just wrong... If they wanted to strengthen the top league all they had to say was that any rider must have attained an average of 6 or above in the Championship before they would be considered in the Premiership which would have resulted in a minimum average of 4 for a reserve in the Premiership keeping the conversion rate at 1.5... That would still leave scope to bring new foreign riders straight into the team on their 4's or 5's or whatever... Also that they had to maintain that 6 or 4 average in that respective league to be considered the following year for the Premiership and then set the build level for Premiership teams to 45 points rather than trying to drag young kids into a league that they may no be ready for... I would much rather see these young riders learning their apprenticeship with track time at a level where they will be competitive at and scoring points rather than the possibility of relying on points coming from other riders falling off or having engine failures... The same could done between the Championship and NDL where the rider must have achieved an average of 6 in the NDL before they could be considered for a Championship team with a conversion rate of 3.0 meaning the NDL rider would come in on a 2.00 to the Championship team and again that they must maintain those averages in either league before they can be considered for selection. Let Championship teams build to 40 points and NDL teams to 35... Newcastle have Barker and Vissing in their team and these two have been known in the past to be able to lets say "ride with some aggression and be rather physical in races" some may even use the phrase "dirty riders" but lets just stick with "Physical" and they also have Joe Alcock as their rising star and I hate to say it but he may be at more risk of getting injured off one of his own riders than one of the opposition. I don't want to see anyone get hurt but IMHO I think it could be a challenge to far for some of these younger more inexperienced riders who don't have the track craft or skill with the associated required track time to learn the skills to get themselves out of trouble... Hope I am proved wrong... However Regards THJ
