    This is a meeting i will never miss as long as it continues & whoever it is that races.

    The fact that such an excellent race track has been chosen only heightens the expectation & i wish only the very best for the club in regards of the spectacle & the good 'ol British weather.

     

    I see that Rob Godfrey is hoping to break the record attendance, being at Scunthorpe is very likely to bring the crowds in for this meeting but i do hope this is catered for with regard to veiwing as that side of things at Scunny is very flat, a few temp stands wouldn't go amiss.

    Enjoyed today, it was warm compared to last season, a great move from Smartie in the final to split the top two on the day and then goes on and wins, track rode well I thought, nice to see a big turn out for the Newport promotoion.

    Mr Mallett came round with his camera and showed photos of the track a couple of days ago and the work they must have put in to get this meeting on, its a big well done to everybody who sorted the track.

    good day, anybody esle pissed off the road was closed to the M50 and then had trouble on the M5 as well, took three hours to get home.It only took an hour and half to get there.

    Oh and if you are going to by the DVD the best camera man in Speedway was doing the filming.

     

     

    We we're on the coventry mini bus. We took the scenic route to chepstow & monmouth when we seen the road was closed, glad we did as we later heard about the problem on the m'way.

    Must admit this meeting was better than it usually is & considering the weather i heard they had yesterday a big well done just to get it going.

     

    1 bugbear,well 2 actually. Why an upright Mr Bridger? Well, that worked well eh!:D

    The other is the format, some meeting 3 times & others not at all, surely a little tinkering with that here & there isn't too difficult.

    And for your information Matt Ford has never been a hairdresser. Probably a little beyond your comprehension though.

     

    And while you take the P out of hairdressers, I would like to remind you it's a skilled job with an apprenticeship. What do you do? Post letters through boxes? I call that a glorified paperboy.

    Ah, peace at last, were back to the original Discusion, COVENTRY, Perhaps they all took turns to go out and make phone calls! But ang on, they never came back, must have been a bloody L O N G phone call!!! :unsure::blink: so where did the go? For an Indian, Chinese Mc Donalds? Or did they just have the hump, because things didn't fall their way?? Answers on a postcard!! ;)

     

     

    yeah that's right they went out for a curry & your two bit hairdresser of a promoter locked the bloody door.

    Maybe not the facts bit it'll do for me.:D

    It makes sense to share the number 1's around and the idea of Coventry having 2 while BV go without is madness. However, I don't like the idea that Wolves can have a top 2 that come to 17, while Coventry can only come to nearer 15. Maybe the limit should be on the top 2 or 3 raher than just the number 1?

     

     

     

     

     

     

    It makes no difference The Aces would have a more balanced team whereas a team with 2 top riders would have to make up for that lower in the riding order.

    Why? You support Aces. I support Speedway. whats your problem?

     

    Its only a guess but i suspect Bananaman isn't really a banana, Hyderd doesn't live on Hyde Road, Lady luck doesn't have much luck, Eastern Wolf probably doesn't blow houses down and Custer mouse doesn't live in a skirting board.

     

     

    and i'm a cooke but i don't cook. Except very poorly.:D

     

    i certainly hope shovlar has got a shovel though, he's gonna need it.:approve:

    You respect people enough to post what they tell you, presumably not intended to be circulated, but out of respect for them you wont drop them in it?

     

    Surely if you respected them you wouldnt post in the first place? There are a lot of people around who know things but they dont say them because it would be rude. Theres also a lot of people who pretend to know things and dont

     

     

    You see the thing is richtea, nothing that i have said about what i know is anymore than what was said in the statement a few days later.

    The problem lies with the perception others have of that statement.

    All i am doing is trying to put people right on how it should be perceived.

    To read all of it rather than re-word parts of it as they see fit.

    For goodness sake read it ALL rather than pick the bits that suit most. Mediation offered or Legal redress is what it says.

     

    That means, IF THE BSPA DON'T MEDIATE THEN THE COURTS IS THE ONLY OPTION.

     

    Thankfully the lawyers of the BSPA appear to have advised them correctly as they know they would be on to a loser in the courts.
