Rossiter and Batchelor didnt cheat the public! they made their opinions known to the referee who consulted both parties and made a decission! The problem once again is with the rule makers, as to be able to get a result when there are points to be played for is wrong! Robins v coventry is a good example in point! so stop blaming the riders who earn far more in other countrys and have a very short career! To be fair there were some good races and it was the younger riders who were going for it, which is normal in life! With the right mentor and equipment young Nathan could become the find of the season! (shame Lee Adams was not at Swindon to help) I would just like to say thank you to everyone for getting the meeting to a conclusion considering the rain!

Lets be honest hear! Coventry fully deserved their lead which was 6 points before heat ten! track inspection called with the visabilty unsafe for all riders (Fact) Ref decides to have one more race so that a result in favour of Coventry is had! Coventry get a 5-1 ref abandons match. In my mind the referee acted neglegently, as he had no regards for riders safety otherwise he would have called a halt far earlier! With 5 heats remaining and only 10 points behind Swindon could have got something from the match (look at Lakeside last match) so once again the fans are cheated and Speedway becomes a laughing stock! I dont know what the answer is! but this wasnt right!!!

I am with you steveO on this one! How can a match be decided with 5 heats to go when the team behind has every opportunity to to win or at least get a point from the match! As for the visability, in my opinion it should have been called off after heat 8! as it was dificult to make out the riders from 50 metres! so god knows how the referee could make any proper decissions! yet another nail in the coffin for British Speedway! And yes I am very disapointed that my wife and I threw away £36 last night !

I have to be honest Steve thats what I feel will happen anyway! Nick will be a big loss for Swindon but to ask for a transfer to just move to Sheffield doesnt ring right! I would guess someone had already put a package together for him! Still its going to cost someone a lot of money if Rosco has any sense!!!

We were sitting in the stand on bend 3 , and freddie came in hard, hit a rut which caused him to give tai a nudge which made him lose control and hit nicki which caused Vaculik to take evasive action, you see these incidents in many GP,s ! The track was not great, and yet most speedway riders ride Motor x bikes so are experienced in dealing with such ruts etc! what annoys me is that not enough care or preparation went into providing a good racing track, the increased cost of storing the shale in a warehouse would have been minimal compared to losing 1,000 s of fans from future GP,S Perhaps its time to approach a scientist to work with BSI on creating a more sustainable shale that would hold up much better for temporary tracks, the cost would soon be recouped! just a thought! I took 2 new fans to Cardiff for the day who enjoyed it so much they now want to follow league speedway as well, so there was some good plus points as well! Not all doom and gloom

The crowd wasn't good, but we did have worse last year in my opinion The season starts too early and it was bitterly cold even for someone who works outside all the time, I expected an increase on the car park but didn't realize inflation was running at 50%! and why now start charging for the under 11,s utter madness, come on Gary get real, otherwise more fans will desert speedway for good!

What frustrates me is all of the cloak and dagger that goes on with the bspa etc, just put your findings and decissions in the public domain then we can all stop guessing!

With a bit of luck all the shannigans that have gone on in the past few seasons will result in an independent body to run the sport, if not i despair of the future speedway has in this country! Stick with watching grass track I think! at least you get value for money!

If I was Peterborough I would rather get a loan fee for Batch rather than nothing at all!
