You missed out Jack Young Pete Bailey, killed outside the stadium Prefer to remember good club servants Only Olsen and Hancock won as Bees
-
Does anyone refer to Olsen as Mr Coventry? Mr Coventry is Nigel Boocock, and there are many similarities in riding styles between The Beau and Bomber I'd like to forget all about Olsen in relation to Brandon, particularly for the damage his All Stars GP Circus has caused to British Speedway If all fails with Brandon Stadium surviving, I hope that the roads in the new development bear the names of those who deserve to be remembered on the site, such as Ochiltree, Parker, Reason, Lightfoot, Owen, Mountford, Boocock, Bailey

I believe your sentiment is correct but the wording of your original post didn't reflect that Perhaps what you meant to say was that those in work were lucky that they hadn't had the undeserved misfortune to lose them, unlike many out there

Thanks PT Here are some contacts : http://www.rugby.gov.uk/councillors/22/tony_gillias

An awful lot of people, who also worked bloody hard for their jobs, have lost them through no fault of their own If you think all the people without jobs "deserve" to be without one . . . . . . . . . I can't think of a suitable response

Let's just rewind to Monday night for a moment - it was clearly stated that the meeting would have gone ahead had it not been for the hole on turn 1 Therefore, the meeting WAS NOT POSTPONED BECAUSE OF A WATERLOGGED TRACK! If Poole have admitted that the hole was their own fault, then obviously they are responsible for the meeting having to be called off Perhaps, therefore, given those circumstances, they should have forfeited the semi-final, allowing the final to go ahead, weather permitting, as scheduled Only Poole are responsible for this - no-one or nothing else is
-
If Kings Lynn take a 4-2 in heat 1, then it p155es it down and it's called off, do the Stars go through to the final?

Wouldn't be too many fixtures for a British-based, British-priorising rider Do we want all these foreign Johnnies who can't fit British fixtures into their bulging diaries? Let's get back to a British League system for British-based riders - yes, like the good old days Those who want to ride all over the rest of Europe, so that they can't fulfil a full British programme, let them bloody well go off and do so -
Any chance of using a more legible font, please, for those of us with ailing eyesight? Note: The system appears to have chosen a different font for the above quote!

What happens if rain ( or a burst pipe) intervenes during the 2nd leg to the extent that 15 heats cannot be completed? Do we have the heat 10 situation again, or must the 2nd leg be 15 completed heats? -

To my mind, having followed this wonderful sport for 50 years now, this comment "it's all about winning" explains a lot about the decline of the sport in recent years It never used to be ALL about winning - yes, all wanted to be the best and strived for that, but it went hand-in-hand with providing entertainment for the fans These days everyone seems so much more combative, and few promoters seem engaged in putting on a show for the public Yes, it's great when your rider, your team, wins, but it shouldn't be ALL about winning It's a wonderfully entertaining sport and spectacle, and that ought to be paramount in the minds of those charged with running it in this country -

http://companycheck.co.uk/company/00355588/CDUGARD-LIMITED makes interesting reading Incidentally, I see that Olli Tyrvainen is European Sales Director Is there really insufficient funds for the continuation of Eastbourne Eagles, or are there other reasons for probable closure? -
That'll be drier for her, compared with Leicester
