He was totally uninterested last night even before the rain .
I would go as far to say he is the most over rated rider in British SpeedwayI think Leon has started to believe all the hype about himself unfortunately.

He is fully aware of that!

Can’t say the swearing bothered me, but I hope any parents letting their little kids watch it will censor the broadcast. One thing that I thought let the production down slightly was the mic that the 7 riders were handed to respond to questions - could barely make out what was being said.

Having listened to the announcement interview between Ryan Guest & TM Sam I have serious concerns.......

The jury is out for me on the TM - I was sort of hoping for someone with a little experience of Premiership management - but we'll see.

Surely we need some closed season entertainment.......

41 minutes ago, Spidvej said:Last season, Birmingham struggled financially in the Championship. I do wonder if riders might fight shy of joining Brum in the Premiership, fearing that they may have trouble getting paid.
There was NEVER an issue with rider payment - in fact Justin Sedgmen frequently praised the club for being so prompt with paying, saying some clubs could learn from them!

1 hour ago, LagutaRacingFan said:Is Zmarzlik still a Birmingham asset? He would be the kind of rider needed to bring the crowds in.
I don't believe he was ever an asset, but even if he was, when the club folded under the Phillips regime all assets were transferred to BSPA.

Is there a way to contact the admin team or is it done through posting?

34 minutes ago, RoundTheBoards said:The thing is, we generally only hear about the tests when there's a positive. We know that in August 4 riders were tested at each of the Belle Vue and Poole meetings with no positives, but generally we don't get told about tests where none were positive, and of course this is how it should be to maintain randomness.
I think at the end of each season a list of tracks/teams where tests were carried out should be released - not necessarily naming riders selected (but it wouldn't be a bad thing to know) so that supporters are aware of the testing programme/schedule.

In regards to team building it's probably already too late......

6 hours ago, Deano said:We need to keep the stox and other motor sports options open, like speedway they aren't every week these days, stox could fill some of those quiet speedway weeks. Has the wheels gone yet? There's a motorsports complex under a risk of development why not push for the council to bring it to PB. Yes planning will be tough, but the covenent and the fact the council need cash, corbally need the income could help that case.
I would think obtaining planning permission for stox is already dead in the water. As for any covenant, there is apparently absolutely no evidence of it - if it ever existed - seems to be an urban myth.

I find it really strange that the identical "substances" were found in 2 individuals samples. I also think the bans should be reworded to be "seasons" rather than years so that there is no benefit gained by being banned outside of the racing window.

You should have had an email just after the rained off event to say it will automatically carry over to the new date.
