    BL2 Pairs Championship, Reading 4.9.88

    Thank-you, appreciated.
  2. Does anyone know the complete results of the British League Division 2 Pairs Championship held at Reading on 4th September 1988. The Speedway Star does give a very limited report - naming Wolverhampton (Ade Hoole and Lee Edwards) as winners, Belle Vue (Carl Stonehewer and Paul Smith) second, Bradford (Bryan Larner and Phil Hill) 3rd, Coventry and Ipswich tying for4th. I would like to know more details, plus which were the other two teams in it. Thanks

Hi Arnie. Many thanks for this, appreciated. If you get a few minutes spare, could you let me know the results of the three races involving the Sheffield pair. Thanks, Alan

Hi. I notice that you mention the Julian Barnett Memorial Trophy - and on another site I see that it has been raced over 50 years. I thought it may be of interest to see who those winners were - after all not many Speedway events have survived that long. A quick look on the internet produced these few results - 1968 Newcastle 1. Unfortunately I have no time recoreded in the final (maybe awarded as there was a faller?)
  14. Does anyone know where I could find the averages for the 2012 Anglia Junior League? Peter Oakes's Yearbook does show the results of the matches - but does not mention averages, or how many rides taken per meeting.
