It now appears that there are five teams in the league. Edinburgh X2, Glasgow, Redcar and Workington. Who is actually running the league? To be ever so nice to the public, would they actually publicise the fixtures? Asking for many friends.

45 -45 what a shock.

So will the under 19 final be on the 25th

But at least the public are charged for the full 30 heats.

Nice to see some results. Would it be to much to let the fixtures be published? (And if not, why not?)

7.00pm - Introduction of riders and one lap parade.
13 Heat match, including 4 track grades often.
Interval.
Junior race.
Reserves race - 2 home reserves and 2 best juniors.
Heats 1 - 4 of second half final qualification, heat winners to final.
Junior race.
Second Half Final - One the hardest races of the night - even though the points were normally split ( race points 6 /4 = one and a half points each in your pay), nobody wanted to be beaten by a team mate or opposition rider, and wanted that all important trophy...lol. The home promoter often hated them for fear of losing one of his top riders through some over zealous riding to win the race.
Total 21 races and the 2 minutes didn't get used all the time, because bikes were brought out onto the track as soon as the riders were returning to the pits. No returning to the pits after a restart by the ref.
Happy days and fans not complaining of drawn out meetings.
Les, I know it's a long time ago but through the mists of time I recall all second half races were three laps at Canterbury.

Will it also be used for stockcars?

That was then, this is now.

Are there going to be advance ticket sales?

So, how about one league with five rider teams as they do in Denmark?

I would hope that the 2023 annual meeting will be preceded many early meetings to plan things. (I may well be in dreamland).

Is the "problem" with Kings Lynn down to the fact that they own the stadium and all takings from bars and refreshments to go them. Hence keep the punters in as long as possible.

As we now have Redcar's fixtures would it be possible for the rest of the fixtures to be made public.
-
The idea is good but by the time riders have been out and the track regarded how long will it take. Meetings drag on long enough already.

Can anyone advise where the money for Mr Morris's wages is coming from?

Why is there no start time shown for the first meeting?

So why is this thread allowed to continue, Swindon is dead and gone.

Any news on progress?

Once it is declared ‘closed’ by the official no further official racing can proceed.
Thanks, my thoughts were would the tyre situation have affected the second half riders. But as you say declared closed means closed.

Daft question, but did the second half take place? If not, why not?

Also to all the doubters are Brummies the first team to finish their league fixtures and the first to declare their intent to ride next season.?
Leicester have finished.

Now 9 riders withdrawn in the last 3 meetings, why is no one in authority taking action?

Can anyone please advise the rules on when riders can ride after missing meetings due to illness. This week Howarth missed Glasgow on Saturday and rode at Plymouth on Tuesday. Cook missed Belle Vue on Monday and rode at Poole on Wednesday.
