Think Middlo has done a brilliant job with the riders he has got . They all give every thing when they ride for him and GB. Long may Middlo continue . Well done to all the Brits tonight.

Went down to Poole Stadium on Friday morning and bought a WTC program for £6 . Went home and checked this site to find out the teams for Fridays meeting . Spent time filling it out ready for the nights meeting. Arrived at the Stadium in the evening and got all the Swedish riders to autograph it . Put it down for a moment to get a drink, returned to find it gone . Just hope who ever nicked it was an AUSSIE .

If they were Aussies ........ Think it would be very unlikely to see them returning to Poole on Saturday . Think it is the last I will see of my program .

Garf, If you go to www.poolespeedway.net the team line ups are on there. Anyone know whats up with Grezegorz Walasek as he is not included in the Polish team? Sue xx Understand that his transalator is feeling unwell .

Might even get Steve Johnstone or Leigh Adams . Dont think they are doing anything else on Saturday .

You have now all witnessed the fact that Poole is the Mecca of Speedway!!(and i don't mean those grotty old bingo halls either). That has to go down as the best meeting ever seen. Great racing, Great track, Great crowd and the Aussies not making the Final. Surely life doesn't get better than that. I just knew the Aussies would Castlemaine XXXX it up!.. Got to agree with your post except for ............. Great crowd .............. Think you are having a laugh. Get far more for a league match . The main stand was half empty . Meeting was totally over priced .

Our tickets were in the grandstand Block B . Luckily the grandstand was half empty so after a few races we all moved to where we usally sit on a Wednesday .

No the crowds are much larger and the atmosphere far better . But the racing is just as good .

Great meeting tonight . Some of the racing from Jonsson, Lindback , Gollob & Kolodziej was as good as anything I have seen all season . Crowd was the smallest of the season and proved that the meeting was totally over priced . Another opportunity missed to show the non Speedway public a great sport and a great meeting ridden in front of a large crowd .

If all 4 riders are injured in the first race of the night as happened in a previous world cup and were all unable to ride again in the meeting even allowing for 1 tactical ride per team wouldnt it make the meeting a total farce . Heat 1 would have no riders in it for a start !!!!!!!!! At least 9 further races would have only 3 riders . Surely all teams should have a reserve rider standing by who could replace a rider who has to pull out of the meeting under doctors orders .

Was it just a coincidence that he happened to be at a meeting that the Danes were riding in or ................... Was he looking for new recruits

If I was Neil Street I would definitly replace Shields with............ Lyons .......... Just think of all the extra support the Aussies would get from the Poole fans , who have such fond memories of Jason .

What a fantastic performance from all the Brits . Makes you feel proud to be British . Great to see Middlo looking so happy .............. What a treat it must be for him to have a team of Brits to manage !!!!!!!!! Just cant wait for the final on Saturday .

Cant believe boh meetings wont be sold out at Poole . Should be 2 fantastic meetings. Definitely not to be missed . To be there when team G.B wins the Cup will live with all the British fans for the rest of their lives . Just cant wait to see Middlo knighted by the Queen .

How many forum users have purchased tickets for the Speedway W.C. Final at Poole in August ?

Can anyone tell me who decided the prices for the W.T.C. Surely if nobody goes it is doing no favours for the coverage of the sport . Would'nt if be better for the sport in the long run to make the tickets cheap and get the publicity if the stadium was packed out for all the meetings . Someone is either being very greedy or not really caring about the long term benefits a successful W.T.C. would be for the Sport .

On this seasons form got to go for Norris . Second choice Chris Neath as the most improved youngster . Would possible consider Compton.......... but where is he ? Not been see in the South yet this year .
