After taking a day to get over last nights meeting ......... Have to say was totally embarassed by team G.B's performance . Jim Lynch having picked 5 Coventry track specialists managed to gain 1 heat winner in 25 heats in the U.k.... unbelievable . Seemed a total lack of team spirit and motivation from Lynch and the captain, Scott Nicholls .

Many Thanks . Have got my programmes printed and ready . Hoping for a great weeks racing without injury to any riders. May the best team win .

But if his plane wasnt overbooked he would have got there in time .

Sad to see that the loyalty Davey showed to Poole and the Elite League back fired on him with a flight delay today . What price loyalty .

Think Davey really fancied a go at the G.P's but felt he didnt want to let Poole down last night . Just a shame his loyalty to Poole cost him a chance today due to a flight delay . With so many riders taking the piss out of the Elite League, for their own ends, hope this doesnt give them even more reason to do so .

Heard tonight at Poole that the Polish Ref is to be replaced at the next G.P. Paul Applin who was the clerk of the course at Cardiff said it .

This is a email I received from a hotel today......... " Thank you for your email; I have added your details to the waitlist for the weekend of the 26thJune 2009. Currently our rooms have been booked by the Speedway event organisers who have taken all rooms for these dates . "

Stayed in the same hotel the last 3 years. Tried to book for 2009 only to be told IMG have booked the whole hotel for 2009.

About a couple of weeks before the event if your lucky .

The final to be run at Eastbourne if the Brits happen to be in it . A final without the Brits to be run at Poole . Both should get a good crowd.

Agree Jonsson is a class act ..... but can he stay injury free for a whole season. Think it will be between n. Pedersen, Crump and Adams again this year . Just hope Adams finally gets the title he deserves.

Got to agree Darwin is a great place . Been there once and just loved it , best place visited so far . Hope to visit again someday , would recommend it to everyone .

Well done Nicki . By far the best rider this year. Has grown up and will be a great ambassador for the sport as World Champion .

Think it is because the U.S.A rode in Blue and finished 4th with 20 points.

My heart says ... 1st G.B 2nd. Australia 3rd Poland 4th Denmark. My head says..... 1st Australia 2nd Denmark 3rd Poland 4th G.B. Hope whatever the result the Brits make us all proud of their effort. The meeting is as good as the G.P in Cardiff. And all the riders finish the meeting without injury . Cant wait for the meeting to start .

Thought Bjarne rode for the Danes .
