I used to quite enjoy looking on these forms, people used to actually talk about Speedway and all the good things it has to offer. However, more recently it seems to be generally full of people who do nothing but moan, complain, are rude and just down right nasty. It's full of comments that have no relevance to the truth or are just made up rubbish. Arrogant self-opinionated people, who obviously have nothing better to do with their life other than put people down and think they are either funny, clever, or both. It really is simple. Perhaps have an open mind to things, stop trying to see a conspiracy in everything and that people are trying to rip you off all the time. It's a fantastic sport. Enjoy it, go and watch a meeting on a lovely summer's evening, except it for what it is.................... Get a grip.

If that's what you believe, fair enough. However, worrall did very well and is a lot better than bomber at Leicester. Cook will improve and get more points than bachelor. But, time will tell. -

Perhaps, I didn't phrase my post very well. I understand people's frustration etc with speedway. I can see why people get fed up with all the messing about that takes place. But, it kinda is what it is. What gets on my nerves are the people who just make things up to suit their argument/point of view. I honestly do appreciate other's view point, but it has to be factual and have some purpose to it.

Leicester vs Sheffield 3/8/23
justathought replied to Lenny Lion's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
If it is on, Leicester will beat Sheffield. The Nick Morris thing hasn't helped, I agree. Bringing in Bachelor, in my opinion, was a bad move. One that was never going to have a favourable outcome in a million years. On Monday it seemed, for whatever reason, some riders who normally perform very well at BP ...........er didn't. It was a blip. Leicester have more or less made the payoffs. I'm sure normal service will be resumed. -

This is Speedway, you should know that the vast majority of posters just make things up, or know someone who knows a certain person's grandma, so it must be true. -

Looking at the line-up. I think I'm right in saying that out of the 14 riders. 9 have ridden for, or are riding for, Leicester, and you've got our manager as well. -

How about issuing each rider with a massive wristwatch that actually fits round their crash helmet, that counts down the 2 minutes. This way, each rider can see exactly how much of the 2 minutes is left, simply by looking at the rider next to them. These can also be sponsored by leading watch manufacturers or jewellers. -

Might be a lesson to be learnt here. Cricket is, I guess, a very much take it or leave it sport.... unless you are a die hard fan of it. (Ring any bells). Yet, with the 100 it has attracted very big, happy, family crowds. It did it by reinventing itself to a younger, family orientated audience. Perhaps, it's the way forward
