Leicester vs Kent 25/09/21
justathought replied to iainb's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Not for me at that price. It's hardly an attractive fixture. We beat them at their place by 16 points. £25/£26 for that and a junior meeting, who, I suspect half arnt interested in anyway. Plus £10 petrol. -

The point I am making is why does it take 28 days to refund anyone. I understand what it says, perhaps there should be a cavitate on this here forum pointing out that any reply may contain smart arse comments. -

There are always delays on that stretch of the M1. It's often not as bad as they would have you belive. I think you should make it. ......best of luck. -

He got 9 points for Berwick on his last visit. So I'm not sure where you get your conclusion from.. including winning heat 15..With Lawson already booked to guest for Edinburgh, the only riders available with a higher GSA than Summers are NBJ and Etheridge.

What are they gonna do drop Cook for Lawson? Can't see that happening, think that is the only way he would fit. -

I notice Friday's meeting will carry a stream, about £12 I think. Has anyone seen past streams on Glasgow tv? Any good, quality, etc. Might have a bash -
It seems to me that Speedway in this country is in a pretty bad state. The number of people the vast majority of teams get through the door makes being a promotor near on impossible I would have thought. I'm afraid, in terms of the paying public it just can't compete with what's on offer elsewhere. Facilities at most venues are, to say the least poor. The way the whole thing is presented is something like what was happening in the 1970S. Stupid rules that people who were going in the 1960s don't understand let alone new punters. The whole experience is old-fashioned and dated. I know it's not a fair comparison, and a lot of money has been thrown at it. But, The 100 is an old fuddy-duddy sport that has been reinvented and offers just fantastic entertainment and value for money for the whole family. ........ But, this is the kind of thing that speedway is up against, I know which one will win.

That's amazingly helpful.

It's been discussed till the cows come home . As I said it is what it is. On occasions it can produce some decent racing. It is much improved compared to what it was. Personally I think there are only a couple of real top tracks in the UK. The majority seem to be very very similar.
