Well, what a bloody brilliant thread this has been. I applaud the fact that the BSPA are trying something, however it does seem again that its been rushed through slightly. At pretty much every level of motorsport there are restrictions on performance etc, however speedway does not seem to have moved on. IMO the best thing British speedway could do is to set up a technical committee, to think such projects through, eg we have had an ex rider give seemingly sensible thoughts, plus an engine tuner putting a bit of meat on the bones. Why have such people not been consulted? There must be vast knowledge knocking around the sport why is not being used to enhance the standards of the british riders?

Is it me or are Brandon Estates over egging the "damage" done to the site? Ok, the shale has been removed, the lights have been taken down, and the seating has been removed, the pictures of the bar area show a couple of wires hanging down, ceiling tiles on the floor and some insulation hanging down. Hardly a big deal.

I'm not sure Kylmakorpi was shafted last year, he wanted to get sorted early doors and Horton didn't want to commit so early... Hence he was announced si early by Wolves

Why not revert the registrations to the BSPA, the BSPA can then collect the loan fee's which is then used to fund team GB etc...

So what, who is going to complain? the riders will not as they could be "blacklisted" and severely limit their chances of earning a contract in future seasons. Personally, I believe that having riders racing in different countries for differing teams is detrimental to the sport as a whole.

So now that Brandon has not been included on the local plan Sandhu is upset that Horton has done a deal to run the stadium for the next 3 years, effectively replacing Sandhu & Heaver. To me it looks as though Horton has stolen a march and given Coventry Speedway the best chance its had in a few years of surviving.

No, he originally called all fans who questioned why he was not at Wolves bell ends. With most directing the question at the club and him... He then decided to retweet a few tweets, so the usual sycophantic "real fans" would dive in and then he tried to suggest he was calling a particular fan a bell end.

No he didnt. he then tried to backtrack that he didnt call any fans bellends, just certain people. Its entirely possible to be a fan and ask why the team manager was not in place at Wolverhampton. Also the majority of the questions were aimed at the club, not Havelock himself. If however you are happy with him as team manager making inane and stupid comments on Sky, tweeting pictures of KK's brush from the pits mid meeting, generally giving an impression of not really being bothered then thats fine. Season is dead, what does it matter Whats to say he would have missed the meetings?

Bearing in mind our season ended in February, I dare say not too much of an argument was put up by the promotion when the "clash" was mentioned. Had we been fighting for the play offs I am sure KK would have been there. he might even have scored some points around there...

Personally think a new experienced team manager is required, a team manager cant be calling fans Bell ends as they queried why he was not at Monmore Green on Monday. The team was losing, the team / promotion didn't put a small announcement out on the Website, stating he would be missing for personal reasons, yet the fans are called the names... Absolute shambles.

Obviously all depends on points limit etc but for under 40 points you can currently get KK, Bomber, Garrity, Kylmakorpi, Bates, Woryna and Sarj

Sensible from the promotion. I have to agree that KK would be one of my picks to return for next year. I would also hope that Kylmakorpi is in the managements thoughts.

Interesting that he is in control of the lease now. I hope the Stock Cars will still be here as its pretty clear Brandon is somewhat a spiritual home for that sport.

I dont think anybody is blaming Wolves as it was pointed out many times this would happen throughout the season. I for the life of me just cant understand why we didnt go that route. Neil could you please explain?
