Interesting, that according to the Leicester Mercury website , Sargeant as been signed on a full transfer & will become an asset subject to approval. It also states they are trying to avoid paying costly loan fees, with Josh Bates registration being owned by the club it only leaves loan fees being paid for Newman & King.

That must of cost all of a fiver.

Wow ok mr angry, thought you might have something to add to the debate, get out of the wrong side of the bed did you.

The rules are the rules, you are acting as though your the first club to have to split up a top two, as was said before its old news and has happened before and will happen again.

  3. Perhaps we should open a "Steve Shoveller 2018" thread, where he can go and play to his heart's content, and leave us Coventry fans on here to discuss sensibly our current problems and how we might see the sport return to Warwickshire

Oh, by the way, if you'd taken the trouble to check, SS, those behind the Save Coventry Speedway & Stox have indicated that they have plenty of funds available for future projects

So if thats the case, SS has a valid point. Why haven't they paid Horton off and run the team at Leicester.

  4. CVS has done a good job for Wolves over a long period. He has not only brought success to the club but ensured it's survival through difficult times for the sport. If he does retire I wish him well. I hope he overcomes his health problem and has a deserved long and happy retirement.

I would be hypocritical if I didn't say that I have been less impressed during his various periods in positions of authority within the BSPA. I am sorry to say that I regard him as one of those who must share responsibility for the present state of the sport.

    Agreed along with Ford.
