It must be a worry for Poole fans that Kaspazak is already showing such a lack of commitment to them and the season has only just started. Makes you question if he see the season out.

Breaking news. Garrity in for Morris at Somerset tonight due to Morris. Losing his main engines today. He's on route to PJR now Bet they wish they had got KK back now. I love watching Garrity but he's not a number 1, that said Somerset have no number 1 either

Kaspazak has started the season in poor form for Poole while Morris has been riding well. That's the reason why Poole are sticking with the guest over their own rider who is free. Poole should be able to get 7pts today against a average looking Somerset team

I'm not surprised by Rye House's poor start. I was more surprised when people rated them as a play off team or even title winners. As a bees fan I have watched 5 of the 7 in my team. The reason they are on bargain averages is due to a decline of form over the last few years or very inconsistent form. There is no real number one to the team. Watt has been shocking for a while now but often blames the tracks rather than himself. Sadly that's why he was let go by Poole & Leicester. They are average at reserve compared to some teams. Harris needs plenty of dirt on a track and then you will see the best of him.

Where is it confirmed that it's postponed tomorrow? If that is the case then how can they have a facility for a rider whos meeting was postponed in advance?

BOSS will be running a coach to Rye House for the Challenge match on Saturday May 6. The coach will leave at 2.30pm, departure point to be advised. The cost should be £14, dependant on numbers. Think Belle Vue will win this Prediction 50-40 I have heard lots of positives about the track so far after the first couple of meetings. Sounds like it's even better than last year 👍🏻

He was in the mix the whole time and was just beaten on the line by Thorssell which is brilliant at home. Much better than the 2 reserves you currently have who never look like scoring much at all and that's even at home

It was always said that these meetings would be Coventry select teams, made up of Coventry riders from over the years. not always the 2017 line up. This has been the case each time. Bjerre & Kerr had never really raced for bees. Rory & Bomber give it more of a bees feel. Stefan is an ex bee, same with Howarth who is due to guest soon. Bates couldn't help being injured. The main thing is to keep Coventry in the public eye and on track. I think the more challenge meetings the better. I really miss not seeing the bees riding. I think it's great what Jeff & those other behind the scenes are doing. Let's keep the faith & keep fighting

Stefan is in heat 15 tonight rather than bees riders. Would Wolves be able to replace one of their current reserves with Stefan?

Sickness apparently It's a shame as we only have a handful of meetings and here we are with K Bjerre, Bates and Kerr. Can see it being very one sided now

Will definitely be a wolves win now with bees having no Kenneth Bjerre or Josh Bates but at least we have speedway 🐝

Sunday 09 April 2017 COVENTRY supporters are set to head to Wolverhampton in big numbers for the Keep Bees On Track challenge fixture on Monday. The match is the first to be specifically arranged as part of the campaign efforts to raise funds for riders affected by the clubs late withdrawal from the SGB Premiership, and to ensure the name of Coventry Speedway remains firmly in the public spotlight even though they cannot compete in the league this year with Brandon Stadium unavailable. Monmore Green was the venue of several of the Bees most famous away wins in the Elite League days, including numerous triumphs in the Greg Hancock/Billy Hamill era, whilst the Bees Treble-winning season of 2007 saw them victorious on all three of their visits. Recent successes at Wolverhampton have involved vital contributions from Jason Garrity, whose riding style is ideally suited to the circuit, and Garrity was part of a spectacular late comeback in June 2015 when four 5-1s in the last five races saw the Bees turn a 27-33 deficit into a spectacular 50-40 win. There will be a link to the glory days of ten years ago on Monday as former Coventry rider Rory Schlein comes into the team as a replacement for Kenneth Bjerre. Lasse Bjerre, however, has declared himself fit to ride despite a heavy crash at Somerset on Friday which caused him to miss a meeting at Workington the following evening. The Dane, who also had a spell with Wolves in 2014, expects to be recovered after a weekends rest. Elsewhere, Danny King leads the side at No.1 whilst Josh Bates impressed at reserve in Leicesters narrow defeat at Monmore last Monday and top-scored in Coventrys win at Peterborough last month. Meanwhile legendary former Coventry promoter Colin Pratt takes charge of the side, having been a team manager of the Bees between 1998 and 2012. Wolves have a familiar look about their team although inconsistent results in the early weeks, especially in their lower-order, means this is an important night for the home side to look to find form. Admission is available at £15 adults, £10 concessions, £5 juniors and £1 children. Normal admission can be paid, however, at £18, £13, £7 and £1, via a special turnstile the difference will be a donation to the Coventry fighting fund, administered by the Nuneaton Speedway Supporters Club. The Committee strongly encourage supporters to use this turnstile if at all possible. As with the recent Challenge match at Peterborough, supporters are also encouraged to show their club colours via flags, banners, caps and club clothing, and we will again have our photographers out in force.
