A ORLOV replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
With his grasstrack experience he should cope well with any undulating parts of the track. -
Agree with JD staying but is there still a rule about Only one rider with average over 8 in the team ?

If they increase the number of teams are they going to reduce the already low team average limit, Swindon are one of the 4 teams over this years limit. -

Of course they can but if there are any d/u riders, they would be riding for their PL clubs if they have meetings If Poole cannot fit the meeting in by the cut of date the club going forward to the final could be the winners of the meeting at Ipswich -
for a plastic medal, yes

Although a larger top league would be good I cannot see many clubs wanting to move up with the way the top league has acted in previous years to those that have moved up, most of which dropped out after one season, too many politics and if shown on tv not enough money is paid to cover those fans that stay at home and watch the meeting on tv. The cost of the riders is higher and unless the teams are weakened or the costs reduced how many PL clubs can afford to move up? -
Swindon v Belle Vue Premiership Cup Final 2nd. Leg
A ORLOV replied to auntie doris's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Also quite a few who are going to Cardiff usually do Swindon tonight, Somerset tomorrow then Cardiff saturday. There are often fans from Poland and this year there is a group over from Australia for a while who are going to be there, so it should be a good crowd. -
Swindon travel to Kings Lynn this monday for their last and important League meeting of 2019. Swindon are top of the League with 46 points with Poole, the only team that can catch them, second on 45 points but they have one meeting in hand. To stay top Swindon need to win this meeting and Poole lose one of theirs. Swindon have been getting stronger but their away record is a bit iffy so the top 5 need to score well and the reserves up their game. Kings Lynn have a couple of riders returning from injury. Looking forward to seeing the BV youngsters who have improved a lot this year but still believe Swindon will edge it. -

What even with Wolves getting beaten by Peterborough tonight
-
You will see plenty of overtaking at the smooth Swindon track, especially by the Swindon riders when Poole are the opposition.
-
Just try to get a better guest for thurs, please
-
But certain people often state lessons will be learnt, but they never do learn from their mistakes, it is the usual excuse for cocking up.
-
Still top of the table
-
Looks like BT slipped up again and showed the wrong meeting
-
It was bumpy when Swindon were there when in one race both Holder or Kurtz and Tobi were bouncing off the saddles.
-
But Shovler poster that it was smooth
-
People are not wasting their money watching a meeting on a dodgy track
-
Presumably his last ride
-
That is a hell of a shame and wish both well.

Since Batch scored 12 points in each of our last two visits to KL I would think he would again want to show Chapman what he has been missing.
