Cant believe the flak Tai is getting though its from the usual band of people. Has rode over here for numerous years and has promoted the sport over here tirelessly. I for one dont blame him for cutting his scheduale down and if its the country that pays him the least so be it. How many of the top top riders ride over here? Not the top3 in the world thats for sure. Cant remember to many fans saying 'good riddance ' to Holder when he didnt ride here. What about Hancock? A genuine nice guy who did a couple of months to earn some money over here but no intention of staying permanantly? Far worse than what Tai is doing. Those of you saying he is now Aussie need to grow up a bit quite pathetic.

not what im saying mate. Ward needs a ban the length of which will be up for discussion. What i am trying to get at is that he shouldnt be dealt with leniently compared to others as he happens to be in the worlds top ten or because he entertains. He should be treated the same as a national league rider would be in the same circumstances

I think that a heat leader trio of Morris , Summers, and Lawson with Kozza as second string is stronger than King Tungate Gino and Cam. All about opinions though

he has said he should be punished yes. he also has said he shouldnt be harshly dealt with because he is entertaining, which is irrelevent

Why do Edinburgh fans get defensive over Cook? Every club at Premier level would love him in their team Nobody is saying that he shouldnt ride for Edinburgh. If he is comfortable making an easy living thats his choice he can settle for that. However when he retires he may look back and think ' what if ' He does show a lack of ambition but my god some fans get defensive when you say that.

Holder would be a great signing for Swindon in my opinion. Nobody in their right mond would want to take on Ward. Thing is the Poole fans think that Holder will only ride for one club over here which is rubbish. If he wants to ride uk and Poole for some strange reason choose Ward over Holder then he will go elsewhere

Lakeside is my local track but supported Ipswich from 1980 so cant change lol. May have to get over a few more times if AJ is back such a great rider to watch round there

not what im saying. you say he shouldnt be banned because he is a top rider and entertaining which is rubbish. He is 22 he can come back from a ban. A ban he deserves. He can go 2 ways. If he is of strong character then he will lokk on this as his wake up call and come back a better person and go forward. If he is weak he will just spirsl out of control and will be lost to speedway. I like watching him ride, who doesnt, but nobody is bigger than the sport itself and if he is lost to the sport then so be it.

Well last season we had a top 3 of Worrall, Tungate, Risager. Good back up from Gino This season top 3 King, Tungate, Gino. Hoping Heeps can back them up scoring like Gino did last year. Im aware we cant track the same riders but Worrall seemed to be getting dialled in and i just think we look weaker than last season. Gino now stepping up into a heat leader role will be fine at home but we look very weak away from home. We had a rider with potential in Adam at reserve that we have let go. This new rider needs to be sensational in my eyes. Hate to be pessimistic but i think we look poor. Just for example looked at Glasgow. 3 of their top 5 are Morris , Kozza and Berge and they can still fit in 2 8 pointers in there as well like Worrall and Risager for example. That top 5 would walk all over ours. Ok they have 2 three pointers at reserve but i can see Sarjeant adding to that. As i look at other sides i worry about us

Im really confused why Poole are not pulling out all the stops to make their top 2 Holder and Magic. I can understand with gp commitments Magic might not come back but he really was the reason Poole won the league last season. Dont understand why Ford is waiting on Darcy. Could scupper the whole team building if , as expected, he gets the ban he deserves. Poole will always build a decent team, its the one thing Ford is good at, but waiting for a loose cannon that if signed again could cause more issues is a huge risk. Just waiting for Starman to say the above is anti poole lo. This is the starman who cant actually read when other Poole fans mock him (sorry chrisgillian you will never get his response) cant read that Poole fans want Holder not Ward. But yet amazingly can attack and mock anyone else....................amazing Still it gives the forum a laugh when he posts

My team is a premier league team but get real of course the elite is stronger. Cook 9+ in the premier and a mile away in the elite. If Cook is happy in the premier then thats his choice. Fact remains he will never realise his true potential while he does, and has a long way to go to be mentioned in the same breath as true premier league/national league legends

Starman you make a post on here that 5 different people explain to you is incorrect. Those post have between them 20 likes. You had the cheek to say nobody take what I write seriously. Said it before your posts are great comedy value even if you never actually respond to the debate!

Starman knows his speedway! Go back over any if his posts and see what EVERYONE says. He'll go on the Poole 2015 thread and even Poole fans have had enough of him. If you think that people feel Darcy needs a ban because he rides for Poole just shows your narrow mindedness Go over my posts Starman and see how many are liked. Go over your posts and there are about 10 people who quite you and mock you including your own supporters on your thread. If you think your posts are taken seriously you are somewhat deluded. which effectively doesnt really punish him does it. Speedway seasons in Europe are March - October. If you are banned for 6 months for an offence in Europe you should not be allowed to ride for 6 months , i.e last 3 months of last season and first 3 months of this. read my above point. banned from racing in Europe for 6 months. or banned for 9 months to take in the oz season. either way for what he has done to just miss 3 months of racing is farcical. Stefan Danno missed 8 months IN the european season

Ive read some rubbish but this takes the biscuit. So effectively you are saying the 3 months or so he missed is fine? He needs a ban from when the season is on not taking into account the winter months. If he gets a 6 month ban then by all means include the 3 he missed and then the first 3 of the season. Cant get my head around how people think he should be allowed to start the season. please stop spouting 'i want to see the best riders' its an argument that holds no substance at all. if it was a boring premier league rider would you advocate a ban? the rider, the ability, should make no difference at all to any punishment. Darcy Ward is great to watch and yes he will be missed, but to say he should be allowed to ride because he is entertaining is rubbish

From the riders i have watched: Loram Louis Galvin Schofield Havelock Silver Thorp Stonehewer Wilson Those mentioning Cook are having a laugh. Wouldnt make the top 20 of best ever premier league number ones. Look at the class of the riders ive listed and where the majority got to on the world stage. Cook isnt even close. And thats without mentioning the Owens, Lawson , Wilcock, Garrard, Cox, Les Collins, Kennett , Perks. Riders i didnt really see race as was only bout 5 or 6 when they were about. Cook is dominant in an era where the standard is lower than late 80's early 90's so he would not make my top 20
