  1. Great point for the Stars despite some shockers from the ref and Batch How the ref could give all 4 back in the first heat is beyond me. Freddie clearly wiped Niels out and couldn't have been first bend bunching as they were on the second bend! No need to apologise though as he did get a flyer- he anticipated the start so he went when the tapes went up imo. It's impossible to react that quickly. Batch needs to wake up a bit. Was shocking when he missed the two mins. Also, gutted for Rose as he was going so well had Howarth not wiped him out. Awful move and something needs to be looked at the 2 reserves heats- maybe Howarth should have been removed from 12? Can't understand the rule allowing anyone to replace a rider in 15. Ridiculous rule! Nevertheless, great point with some great rides from Robert.
  2. How the hell can you accuse Buster of trying to take Doyle when Rosco said it was fine? Think it's more a case of someone at Swindon cocking up! How can you not realise that you have a meeting on that date and allow another team to use their rider?!!

Leaves 11.81 for the last two riders with one being a fast track reserve.
  4. Totally agree with that. Clubs like Coventry and Lynn should be rewarded in some way for encouraging the development of British youngsters through NL teams. They get out what they put in. They don't just have a NL team for the fun of it or for winning. Look at the Young Stars side and they hardly taste success in the league but have had success in the development of riders e.g. Rose, Kerr etc. which benefit the senior side and British speedway. If you don't benefit British speedway, British speedway shouldn't benefit you by allowing you to have any rider in the draft where other clubs have put time and effort in developing.
  5. Obviously I appreciate every rider's efforts and bravery for making the sport so entertaining emphasised by yesterday's meeting and I thank them all. Lewis is in all our thoughts and prayers and I wish him all the best to get well. Didn't expect to get anything out of tonight's meeting but well done to all the boys for keeping it close. Well done to Wolves also. Was always going to be a tough meeting for every rider in all meetings tonight and hats off to them for entertaining us once again at a difficult time.
  6. Knew ever since he pulled his cut out against Poole that he wasn't interested in helping Stars and only focusing on reducing his average. If we want to have any chance in play offs we need to replace him as he will be no good especially as an agent against Poole.

Darcy lives in England and is likely to ride here next season whereas Niels doesn't live here and is an asset of Peterborough so he will probably cost more. Darcy is more committed to England than Niels so he will want to ride more in the Elite League. I agree that Darcy is a GP rider as well but he seems more committed than Niels (not criticising Niels he's done a great job) to Elite League speedway. I know Darcy probably won't come and will stay at Poole but it's what I hope will happen.

I think Porsing, Schlein and Ma ds are probably going to be in the team next year. I would also like to see Kozza, Stead, Kerr, Lambert and Niels (unlikely, I agree with Baggy that we won't be seeing the big gu ns next year- Pedersen, Niels, Hancock etc. ). How about this team: 1.Ward 9.07 2.Porsing 4.00 3.Mads 6.97 4.Stead 5.56 5.Schlein 6.84 6.Kerr/Lambert 3.00 7.Kozza 3.76 Total: 39.2 (3.3 extra for improvements?) Harris-6.82 for Kozza moving Porsing to 7 and Stead at 2?
