Those trying to to justify the price as “decent value”’come on, at least be honest. You were happy to pay for it because you can afford it and you love your speedway, but good value it isn’t. People also need to stop comparing to prices at the track, totally different experience being there as we all know.

I pay 14.99 to stream all the Sky sports channels for the month on NOW, now that it decent value compared to the same price for 2 hours of a glorified practice session warm up meeting.

or just pay £70 for the year and stream whatever you want :drink:

she did look ok but the track was very slick very smooth the times were slower than when Dan Bewley had the track record for the colts in 2017. she rode middle of track most of the time.

listen there will never be a woman speedway world champion in a million years, not even a transgender man/ woman, not unless zmarzlic comes clean,

98% of all riders are never going to be world champion, should they all not bother trying?

Visited Riga a couple of weeks ago and really liked the place.  Just over 2 hours flight from the UK and the airport is only 20 mins by bus from the town centre.  I asked the guy on reception at our hotel how far the track was and he said it's about 20/25 mins by bus from the centre.  Will definitely go back for a GP, but not this year.

Wroclaw as said above is brilliant. Close airport. Track is served by direct trams taking 10/15 mins and a great town centre.

Going to Warsaw in May and will report back. :t:

Warsaw is a great city, easy to get around, cheap food/drink. We went for the first time last year, wont be able to make it this year but fingers crossed we will be back there in 25.

Really? A British Champion at No.2? Lewis Kerr at reserve? Maciej Janowski, Charles Wright, Nicolai Klindt, Chris Harris, Rohan Tungate, Lewis Kerr, Ashton Boughen  ... that is a seriously good team; I was rather worried when I saw that, but the Brummies came back after Oxford actually did better on the wet track to begin with. (The away team did not have any advantage).

Is it though? Maciej could easily go missing, so could Tungate/Klindt. Dont think its that much personally

Absolutely correct - the red ‘B’ all over the legs makes you feel abit like you’re tripping and is abit of a design mess.

Pawlicki not being there isn’t a surprise at all and has made Rogers look even more stupid than normal.

Genuinely wonder how he is still employed

I mean plenty of riders haven’t turned up for meetings they don’t fancy over the years…former world champion last year took Michael out of two clubs doing so, and given his struggles I can imagine it was tough to keep going at times for Joe.

Not trying to spin anything, you have to temper the expectations of youngsters, guess I just prefer to support young lads giving it their best rather than tear them down

no one is tearing them down, its called being realistic

As a said… in the main, I was not including Dan and Robert in the 12. I worded it badly. I still feel you could replace most of this year’s field with previous GP winners and medalists without weakening the series. Happy Friday be proved wrong.

what previous GP winners and medalists would you add out of interest? I think there is a case of Maciej, Fricke are on par with Lebedevs, Kvech etc based on recent form, and its not like the door is closed forever on riders not in it this year.

I think some of them thought they had it pretty easy and were relying on a wildcard every year, maybe this is the push they need

His average would probably fit, around 5.5 I think , but I thought I'd read somewhere that he was only doing kings Lynn and Poland, to me it's another British youngster that's hanging on to try and make it in Poland rather than put the miles and effort doing 2 leagues in the UK.

    Is that a bad thing?
