Nice to actually enjoy a night at Rye this season. Good racing, a good win, Boxall and Kennet doing the business, Bunny won a heat and young Ollie scrapped for every point. I even enjoyed the Berwick fans banter and the yellow kilts. At this rate I might even go back.....

Indeed. A very good signing, looked quality around Rye in the British semi and makes us look like a stronger proposition now. As westhamboy says, the danger is the risk of having important riders running in all 3 leagues, but I'll take that. Respect to Simon if he did step aside of his own accord, as reported. since it seems like our promotion are slow to let under performing riders go, he made the job easier for Len.

Stefan Neilsen rode really well at Ryehouse on Wednesday. I agree with Rockets that we should try to bring him in and also Roynon if the averages allow. our promotion are always slow to make team changes. This is not always a bad thing, but the good potential of this year's team is going pear shaped fast if we don't make at least one change pronto. Garrity is far too good to let go, he's off the pace but was out for most of last year. He'll come right soon and being at reserve will do him good. We've been here before with Lambert. Peterborough will be hard to beat tomorrow. blackbird looked very strong at Rye on Wednesday. I saw us beat them away first match this season but they seem like a different proposition now. Hope we get a good crowd at least, and a bit of atmosphere.

I'm heading up to support the Rockets. Looking forward to my first visit to the show ground since 1981!! Expecting a Panthers win, but keen to see how the new look Rockets perform. Still think we will regret letting Anders Melgren go, but we do have a few riders who can handle bigger tracks so we should put up a fight, at least.

Yes I do remember that! Used to watch the Panthers when I was a kid. Standing on the first bend and ducking at the last minute to avoid shale in the eyes was the best part! I'll head for the back straight and look for a bit of yellow and blue.

Any Rocket fans going to Peterborough next Tuesday? Where will you be standing? I'm thinking of heading up and would prefer to stand with some of our own! Nothing against Panthers fans, just makes for a better atmosphere to be around your own supporters.
