Thanks so much Iris123 and Chunky. Do you have any more memories of the Internationale? I'm sure I was at it and bits are coming back. Am I right in thinking we had a league double-header with White City in 1977 where we rode there in the afternoon and then back to PL in the evening? I'm guessing that was on a bank holiday. I had a friend who used to try to pretend to be Brendan Shilleto to impress girls. It didn't really work.

I'm a lapsed speedway fan who went regularly to Plough Lane in the 1970s. I'm looking for Wimbledon's home results in June 1977. I've looked on the net but no joy so I thought that I would ask here. Any help or information would be gratefully received and thanks in advance. Another question for anyone with a really good memory. I remember that Wimbledon had two "number 8s" who rarely if ever rode for the first team but rode in the second half. One was called Brendan Shilletto? Was there another one and what was his name?
