A hero representing us at gp level. I bet the UK TV audience of the gps would half without him. (Or any brit tbf). The real question is what has he done against British fans?

Presenters And Announcers

Danny Ayres....It's the same in other sports I follow. The PC brigade and health and safety crew have killed fun in this country. Always found it funny at motorsports events that a grass bank can be closed off incase someone falls over. When 10 yards away people are racing round on bikes or in cars. Never forget last year's world cup where the security in the temporary stands had to wear hard hats. But the 1000 or so fans sat there didn't. -
I may be completely wrong here and going from memory. But I seem to recall Tai offering to hire a track out in Europe but the bspa weren't prepared to cover travel costs. As I say don't take that as a statement of fact as it's just something I seem to recall.
-
Lakeside is literally one of the worst tracks to estimate attendances with such open spaces. I ve been to Banger events there with 10,000 plus people yet (turns 3 and 4 for speedway) was still like a ghost town.
-
Locke for me falls off a far bit, but that's because he is a trier. He reminds me of a raw Jack Kingston or Danny Ayres. Certainly the exact sort or eider who will thrive under the undoubted great tutoring he will get at lakeside.
-
Ready he got a head injury so 9 day lay off I believe. Gonna miss a few meets as he was gonna be very busy the next week or so.
-
All a bit of a mess. Spooner appears in the lakeside declared team on today's greensheets issue. Kent maintain Spooner is still under contract to them, and say Lakeside have NOT signed Spooner. Now in the last few minutes the bspa have tweeted referring to Spooner as a guest. Clear as muck...
-
Kents press officer has just confirmed on the Kings supporters Facebook page. That Lakeside HAVE NOT signed Alex Spooner.
-
I am pretty sure they can't redeclare Spooner as I am sure I read that Kent have Spooners contract for 2017. Hunter is supposedly injured, but as he is the only rider missing in the 1-5 the only facility available is rr. So it's far more likely that Spooner is riding as a 3.0 undeclared rider.
-
Why when he has been told that Hurrys average dosent fit by the bspa, is he knowingly taking an illeagal team all the way to stoke when any points earn will get deducted anyway? Or the match referee will not allow him to ride.
-
Kent dumped mason a few weeks into 2013 and replaced by Compton. Mason then resigned a couple of months later. So don't rule out a return.
-
Perhaps there may be a shortage of medical cover Monday.....
-
And on current form he'll probably get an extra ride or 2. Very impressed with him at kent Monday, but seemed to tire in his 5th and 6th rides.
-
What's his average Garry? High 5's?
-
I ve nothing against Paul Hurry riding NL, but there is no way in hell he should be able to replace a 6.5 rider. Paul Hurry will benefit all riders of different ages with their development, be it in the pits or on the track. But it should not be a false average. And why would I say where bits of info come from, I said I was told this by a good source prior to the season. Whether you choose to believe that is your perogative and no skin of my nose either way.
-
Just read the pr on the bspa site. Hurry quoted as saying "it's been a tough start for David, and I think they wanted to strengthen the top end" What absolute BS as I was told this move would happen before a wheel had turned in anger. Before easter people though ivwas barmy or had a really poor club source. So why are they dressing this up as anything else. This is what then intended since declaring their initial team.

They had the Wolves centre green announcer on the centre green in the live match from Dakarna tonight..... -
In light of the higher averages imposed on Hall and Cook, in Cooks case after he had be in the named side for some time. I can only assume Pauls average will be increased from what ever figure he is on atm. And if it's not I don't think it will just be 1 or 2 clubs complaining it ll be the whole lot. No problem with Paul riding, it will be great for the youngsters. And I look forward to seeing him again. But he has to come in on a realistic average which must be close to the full max 12.00 Did I read his last average was 3.61??? or similar in the elite. So by current rules his average should be something like 3.61 x 1.4 Then double that. Which would be at least 10 pts

With a blank space in the monster team, would it be possible for Tai to ride in the competition should he want to. Or can the bspa/acu just put a block on it. -

When you think how long someone like Carr has been around I often get shocked when reminded he is still so young. Max Clegg is another in the same bracket. Such a wealth of talented brits around under 23-24 years old that with the right backing, and good guidance, and of course a touch of luck along the way. That hopefully a few of them can jump up to the world elite levels. This looks an appealing fixture on paper, hopefully it gets a decent crowd, and we can get to see more of our young brits (and indeed senior team) ride together in challenge matches, be great personally to see a similar fixture at kent at some point. -
