  1. Phill we as supporters are Sick to Death of being told lies by Promotors, Therefore could the Speedway Star please do your own investigation into tonight’s Fixture Cancellation at Birmingham, I have spoken to the Stadium, I have spoken to Dog Trainers and they have all confirmed there is no Electricity Problem at Perry Barr, Is it not your duty to look into this matter and inform us your customers your come ? I have been a subscriber to the Star for many many years, So as a loyal customer please find out the truth of the matter, Maybe Lawrence Rogers is telling the Truth, Maybe not, but surely we deserve to find out, and your our only hope as the SCB don’t seem to care.

    F.A.O. Phill Rising

I’ve been a Speedway fan for over 30 years, not supporting any particular Team, Just loving the sport, but not anymore, I just couldn’t take any more of the lies and nonsense that as taken over the sport. As for Workington I stand by my post 100%, Speedway at Workington is finished and will not return, In my view Re my question to the Speedway Star, The current situation at Birmingham is typical of the current state of Speedway, We all know the reason last nights meeting was cancelled was because Mr Ellis was riding in Denmark, (he did very well scoring 9 points) There was nothing wrong with the Electric's at Birmingham, as confirmed to me by the Stadium, Supporters should be told the truth, the SCB/BSPA will do nothing, or should it be just brushed under the carpet, In my view the Press should look into this for the fans.

Be very very interesting to see if the SCB make an official enquire into this and report the outcome

This Once great club is now run by a buffoon by the name of Lawrence Rogers, Yes the dog meeting took place last night, having rang the stadium up today and asked if there was any problems with the electricity I was politely informed no comment, yes Adam Ellis is riding in Denmark tomorrow Birmingham speedway hold your head in shame.
  5. I can hear the post match report now “some of the riders did well, not the result we wanted but the team spirit is second to none even on the Track walk,Which really means the Team Spirit is good but we’ve got a rubbish team.
  6. Don’t know but at least he’s an asset, worth bugger all, but never the less an asset, Nice to see Danny win heat 2, just shows how clueless Rogers is

1st time I’ve been this season and it will be the last, Pathetic performance by Birmingham, but the biggest surprise was the crowd, Hell there were more at the Bar when it was NL, Things not looking good for the future,
  9. As stated previously Workington Speedway R.I.P.
  10. Why don’t you Workington fans just realise that you have lost your Speedway Team, There was not enough of you going when you were running, it was not financially viable, The Promoters were going cap in hand to run again this Season, as sad as it is Workington Speedway Is Finished, get over it and move on.

    Workington 2019

All this nonsense about the License to be put on Ice, Let’s get one thing right the current promotion will never be allowed to hold a Promoters Licence again all there Rider asset will be taken off them, It’s the cardinal sin to withdraw from the League after the AGM, Unfortunately this is the end of Workington Speedway

    Birmingham Brummies 2019

Can’t see why he would, but if you say so massive loss to Birmingham. Everyone knows Bossman/Mainman is on this forum I think Birmingham fans needs the following answers. 1 Why have you not signed your No 1 rider from this Season. 2 Why you have signed a unless Italian and not a young English rider who as served Birmingham very well for the last 3 years and would do anything to ride for Birmingham this Season. But no Doubt he will not have the courage to do so.

    Birmingham Brummies 2019

Complete nonsense, IF Tom doesn’t ride for Birmingham (Which by the way I’m sure he will) It will be for one reason and one reason only MONEY
  18. Argos

    Birmingham Brummies 2019

When Tom went to Birmingham from Mildenhall he was a 4 point rider, This season he was the best rider in the NL as he finished Top of the averages, Why would Tom not want to ride for Birmingham, or maybe why the Promoters Don’t want to sign him, There is no logical reason why Tom will not be a Birmingham Rider next season, It’s a match made in heaven

When Birmingham sign Tom Bacon I will be VERY happy

You are living in the past, you would be surprised what incentives the BSPA give Clubs to move up a League

    Birmingham Brummies 2019

This just doesn’t seem correct, The entrance cost at Birmingham this Season is £16.50 for an Adult, For 15 meetings this would cost £247.50. Now a season Ticket cost £232.50 for 15 meetings which would be a saving of £15 Is this value for money
  22. Argos

    Birmingham Brummies 2019

All this nonsense about him becoming an asset, A asset is only any good if it’s worth anything.
  23. Argos

    Birmingham Brummies 2019

Why do you think he hasn’t ridden over here for the last 3 years ?
  24. Argos

    Birmingham Brummies 2019

That is a disgraceful signing by Birmingham, he comes in on an assessed average of four, he will never achieve that, when they could have used Dan Hume a young British rider who will improve, and served them well in the National league. I wonder how many meetings the Italian will miss for Italian championship, GP challenge. The last time I saw him at Sheffield he was dreadful No wonder speedway in this country is in such dire straits.
  25. So Mildenhall have Declared thay are running next Season at the AGM, But it was up for sale, So presumably there is new Owner, Has Anyone any idea who it is.
