  1. Helmet on or of, it just shows he is a head case and should be thrown out of any future Team GB plans. Absolute waste of space and any club worth their salt would show him the door.

    Poole 2019

The emphasis was on the “odd” sponsor and not sponsors as a whole. I am fully aware of the part sponsors play in today’s speedway environment, I was one.

    Poole 2019

Looking at the crowds last night, I think Poole (as a club) can manage without the odd sponsor!

    Poole 2019

The main thing is, we now have a good track back at Wimborne Road and, a really good team who can clearly ride it well. Some first class racing last night and long may it continue. The legal wizards can sort out the rubbish whilst we watch the racing, I just wish the promotion would be a little more open with those that pay their salaries..

So what’s the deal with the main sponsor. No mention of them anywhere in the programme but, Nigel kept referring to the Poole Number 1 Carpet Cleaning Pirates!! Any comment MMX???

    Poole 2019

I don’t think I was inferring that there were any issues with the teams performance and, nor would I with the way they have performed to date. However, there is clearly something adrift in the “commercial department”.

You can dress it up which ever way you like but, not paying your sponsorship bill is the same as withdrawing support.

    Poole 2019

And they’ve been removed from the list of sponsors. It will be interesting to hear how Nigel introduces the team tomorrow!!!

    Poole 2019

Not sure if it’s true but I’ve heard that the main sponsor has withdrawn his support from Poole!!!
  10. I think Scott Nichols would do a decent job as a GB TM, and is both young and experienced enough to work with the likes of TW, RL and DB. As a current rider he’s also riding with and against some of the younger riders in the British circuit and would possibly spot talent for the future.
  11. I am amazed that the GB TM did not have the good grace to be interviewed on the overall Team GB performance for the weekend and felt it appropriate to leave it to the youngest member in the team. You can bet your bottom dollar he would have been all over the screen had we won.
  12. If they do, I bet I won’t be the only one who won’t bother to watch it!!
  13. Making adverse comments about another countries riders not scoring when in fact he should have been apologising to the viewing British public for his team selection and the fact one of his riders took another out.
  14. Or Scott Nichols. Rossiter’s days must be numbered. His appalling decision to declare Bewley as part of the squad and then leave him at home and, his venomous comments during his TV interview surely means his Team GB Managers P45 will be in the post by the morning.

    Poole v Ipswich. Prem. 18th July 2019

Think my maths is ok but, perhaps my understanding of speedway rules is a little lacking. I mistakenly thought we had scored 4 at Ipswich. My humble apologies..

The biggest improvement that I can see (post the major rework) is that the track staff have retired “the blade” and are now using a bar grader. Long may that continue.

I think the “track issues” at Poole should drop off the agenda now that Poole has: 1/ Taken remedial action. 2/ Are using a Bar Grader instead of the cow plop blade. 3/ Had the the track standard “audited” by an independent “expert”.

    Poole v Ipswich. Prem. 18th July 2019

I understand that after all the whinging from the KL team, buster offered to send one of his “experts” down to see how the track was prepared. Apparently he had no adverse comments about how the track was prepared for last nights meeting. So, that’s who the “extra” pair of hands may have been.

Gavan was at Poole last night. Sat in the East stand, wearing a pink bobble hat and blowing a referees whistle. Most annoying!!

Final analysis: 2 teams both riding home and away, over 2 meetings = Poole - 7 league points. Ipswich - 1.......

    Ipswich v Poole Prem. 11/6/19

An excellent result, well done to the Poole Pirates who jolly rogered the poor old witches!!
  22. Skidder, that’s a little on the negative side for you!!!
  23. And of course Craig will be riding as our number 8. Just as he did at Poole last night. Come on Craig...

Poole v Kings Lynn. Prem. 4/7/19

He did a great job for Poole last night, his actions almost certainly cost KL a point. Thank you Craig...

Always worth ensuring that Standards are the same for all competitors.
