    Newcastle 2013

    Congratulations to the Diamonds :t: http://www.speedwayg...hp?extend.19218 http://www.newcastlediamonds.co/news/article.asp?id=100106
  4. Forecast says rain Friday and Saturday, hope it does not spoil the meeting, looking forward to this one.
  5. I have to say that I am really looking forward to this meeting and the lineup looks pretty good, that coupled with the opportunity to head to Robert Smiths chippy after the meeting tops it off for me. The lineup so far I believe is: Hans Andersen (2011 Winner) Craig Cook Theo Pijper Claus Vissing Mark Lemon Ludvig Lindgren Cameron Woodward Danny King Mads Korneliussen Josh Grajczonek Richard Hall Chris Harris Ricky Ashworth Richie Worrall Ben Barker (2012 Winner) That makes 15 unless I have missed someone and as said looks a good lineup, hopefully the weather will be kind. Please feel free to point out if I have missed any riders as I assume it will be a field of 16 with reserves??, not sure never been to one of these meetings.

No Gps On Sky Television Next Year?

Its all over twitter from a number of riders which probably means it is true!! Hopefully ESPN will take it up, otherwise I will have to try and find it somewhere on the internet.

Hopefully this will not have too much impact on the Diamonds and supporters. http://www.newcastle...e.asp?id=100103

I hope they have someone else lined up incase he has a change of heart or does not come through this fitness test. I assume they will want him to have tried some competitive racing before the start of the season or are they just letting him put himself through his own fitness test? If it is competitive racing, not many matches he can get that in, mainly testimonials. I just hate this waiting lark.

Wonder what is taking so long for them to announce #7. See we have announced a new sponsorship deal/hookup as well. Good news!!! http://www.newcastle...e.asp?id=100102

I notice Ritchie Worrall is no longer in the Somerset Christmas Cracker (or should that be New Year Cracker!!!) and Stevie is riding instead, I assume this is because I believe he is planning on riding in NZ!!!

    Newcastle 2013

I have just done this team: 1. Stuart Robson 7.66 2. R Worrall 5.64 3. L Lindgren 6.84 4. A Tully 6.51 5. C Henry 6.84 6. S Worrall 3.93 7. M Wethers 5.66 Total 43.08 I appreciate that this team is over the limit but was wondering if we would get a further reduction on R Worrall as he missed most of the season. If not then disregard. Out of interest does anyone know if a reduction is possible for Ritchie? May all be irrelevant if 6 out of 7 are being announced tomorrow!!!

So do I but he suffers from the same as Robbo did in that some of his away performances were truly woeful. Also I assume he does not come cheap. I think some of his meetings around Brough were outstanding. Will be interesting to see how the promotion play it, we gonna try and do it on the cheap or try and splash a bit of cash with an entertaining team and bring the crowds back. Do people think we need an out and out no 1, big hitter or are we hoping Ritchie and Steve hit the ground running and continue where they left off, that's what it looks like to me!

    Newcastle 2013

Just a quick team I have put together, don't think it is the greatest!!! 1. Patrick Hougaard (8.30) 2. Claes Nedermark (6.20) 3. Christian Henry/Ludvig Lindgren (6.84) or Lasse Bjerre (7.31) 4. Ritchie Worrall (5.64) 5. Stuart Robson (7.66) 6. Jason King (3.44) 7. Steven Worrall (3.93) Team Manager - Mark Lemon Team Total: 42.01 (0.49 under limit, if I have doe my sums correctly)
  22. Was watching on updates and could not understand why Christian was not in heat 15, did George drop the ball? Good point though.
