Still haven’t had last week’s (30/12/23) speedway star or this week’s yet. As I said, I have a copy put aside every week (and have done for the last 16/17 years)in my local Central store just round the corner from my house.
As a4poster said for the last six weeks or so it has only been delivered on a Friday at the earliest. According to the ladies in the shop, all magazines and papers are now delivered by a different company and they are always late, if they even arrive at all.Got so annoyed at not getting last week’s, I downloaded a copy to read, which was fine when I bought it, but, as I didn’t finish reading it that day, I thought as I paid for a downloaded copy, I could finish reading it the next day…..Nope, every time I try to turn the page it goes straight back to the subscription page……What a waste of time that was, so I have given up….If it gets delivered (finally!!) to the shop, fine, if not I certainly won’t be buying an online download again!!
