    Wolverhampton 2014

The Swindon Monopoly is out tomorrow - details here
  2. A few cocky Poole fans on here As the saying goes "pride comes before a fall". While I don't think it will happen and Poole will win - a bit of humility goes a long way - just saying!!

    Congratulations El Champions Poole

No discount this year - keep up! As has been said before, at the time he was signed he was entitled to ride for GB but he later chose not to - maybe something to do with Muddlo being team manager? Not cheating at all and you know it. If we were cheats we could easily have let Lakeside win and then you and others wouldn't be crowing so much now!
  4. Maybe he could break it down too around the ad breaks and possibly region - I doubt very many were watching outside Dorset after the first ad break

    Congratulations El Champions Poole

I seem to recall you using the Clown emoticon a number of times in a recent posting when referring to Gavan - so it's alright for you but not him?
  6. Poole are the marmite of speedway - love them or hate them. It seems there are a lot of the latter on here but, at the end of the day, they put in a magnificent performance and were worthy winners on the night. They got to the play-offs (like it or not) and they have resoundly beaten the second and first placed teams in the league around their own circuit. While my heart wanted Brum to do well (and miracles can still happen in the second leg), my head had Poole down for the win on aggregate and that's looking likely so well done to Poole - no sour grapes from me.
  7. Oh right! It's Swindon's fault! At least we salvaged some integrity from this season!
  8. Hardly a surprise that Poole are winning quite easily. Brum being made to look ordinary - just like a Swindon were last week. Can't see a way back for Brum with the big hitters in hts13 and 15 still to come. That's the downside of the play-offs - it favours the in-form team and not the best team over a season - but those are the rules. Well done Poole! No complaints - you were the better side on the night (again)!!

Well done Tai Woffinden - World Speedway Champion 2013
  10. That's 2 questions! 2 questions for you - how many points behind Poole were Coventry in 2010? And who went on to win? 'Nuff said!
  11. Change the record - I don't know why everyone keeps talking about favourites because all that matters is what they do on track - as you well know and witnessed on Monday against Swindon. I think you might even believe the rubbish you write - we all know that bookies are out to make money and they have Poole as the clear favourites! Stop playing the underdog card because you are clearly not - in case you don't remember YOU said that whoever won the Poole/Swindon semis would go on and win it!!
  12. So special treatment for Brum - pity you didn't have the same grace for Swindon and Coventry I think you are pretty confident you are going to win so you won't need to congratulate them!
  13. And if you win it - you will deserve it! It's just the arrogance that gets to everyone - why can't you be more gracious like Skiddely and a few others
  14. I think you know the answer to that one! About as popular as someone trumping in a lift!
  15. Only allowed a guest for your #1 or if you have more than one rider out - unless it's a reserve.
  16. If the general chatter is correct (and it isn't usually) - there may not be an EL next year - time will tell. From the discussions on here, it looks like teams will possibly have one big hitter and a team of PL riders - so that's PL in my book (due to a low team average being predicted).

    Robins 2014

Nick Morris is a Swindon asset. It was confirmed by the ex-Glasgow promoter on a thread on here earlier this year that Glasgow received payment for him too. He is the sort of asset you want to invest in (for the benefit of Crump99)

    Wolverhampton 2014

I think if you asked most non-Wolves fans prior to the play-offs, you would find that the majority thought that Wolves were the weakest team in the play-offs (with or without Tai) - which is probably why Brummies picked them (as well as the big pay-day). Having said that, I also thought that Swindon would beat Poole

    Robins 2014

Yawn!! Just as well we didn't buy them then - LOL!
  20. My heart wants the Brummies to win (because they have never been in that position before) but my head says that Poole will be too strong over the 2 legs! The Brummies have been a solid outfit this year but there are a few chinks showing in the Brummies side (Covatti and Smolinski are not free scoring like they did earlier in the season, Auty looks to be struggling and Barker injured). The Poole heat leaders will have the edge and, if Josh G, rides like he did against Swindon, I think it swings it in favour of Poole. Good luck to both teams and let's hope it's as good as the Swindon/Poole semis. May the best team win!
  21. It was a great meeting and the better team won - end of! I think it's unfair to single any rider out for blame - you ride together as a team and you win or lose as a team! I don't think Poole winning was down to EK in heat 14 - Poole were up for this meeting from the start, they looked more determined to win it and we were simply out-classed. As I said before, the better team on the night won and I'm sure they will be no pushovers in the final either.
  22. Congratulations to Poole - the better team on the night
