It was great to see some of Workington's legends back at DP. I didn't think it was such a good meeting though, not a single pass until heat 10, after that things picked up though with more passing. I agree, some great rides by some talented riders but it seemed to be first out of the gate won on most races. Just my opinion.

The those who keep bringing up the old story of home track advantage,what advantage did Kauko have when he won the pairs alongside Nermark at Somerset? It didn't do team GB much good either at Coventry for that matter There was some superb racing last night from all the teams involved, the home and away fans all added to a great atmosphere, I have to admit without Nermark and an injured Stoney I didn't think we had a chance but Charles, Joe, Kauko and Stoney all gave it their best and came through winning Well done Comets!

Thanks Henry, any information really, I thought maybe it was too early for individual riders. I'm hoping to get down to see this meeting, especially now I know Denmark and Sweden will be competing, and if Finland get through maybe Nemo will be riding too, me being a Comets fan who will I cheer on then?
