  1. Well……it was always gonna be a tough night at the races. However, somehow with the help of guests, Berwick got over the line and won! Thought Andersen and Brennan were brillant. What a signing Kasper has turned out to be. Poole played their part in a fantastic meeting, was good to see their fans travel up. I’d be disappointed at the reluctance to utilise Hume(impressive round Berwick) and having seen him always score well, thought Worrall was poor last night by his normal standard. Fantastic night at the speedway, reading some comments on here theres criticism as always about certain aspects of SFP. To those and those before them, ask yourself this, is every meeting you attend wherever that may be, a Wroclaw filled passing fest? I’ll tell you what having witnessed speedway from most U.K. tracks, I know that not every race from every track is a classic. Modern speedway, slick is the new grip

Do you know if you need to order tickets for this? Or just get them on the day?

It could argued too then that Berwick get penalised because the league match at Ipswich was rained off which would have meant the whole team wouldve gotten new averages after Ipswich came to Berwick two days later. Anyway back on topic, Welcome to Berwick David Howe. Sadly it just hasn't worked out for Liam but I'm sure a spell in the NL with the Brummies will help the lad.

Maybe other teams haven't needed to make such adjustments other than like for like signings due to injuries/other reasons. I may though it's about time SGB was run by an independent body and not the promoters

Oh well Berwick will struggle along in the interests of keeping it fair for everyone that hasn't been to Berwick yet so they can get a fair chance of winning.

The rules get ignored all the time, don't single Berwick out. Best interest of the sport for sure, does anyone want to see crowds dwindle at Berwick to the point we are struggling then another winter of uncertainty. Speedway in the UK is on its arse big time so let's just bury our heads in the sand as long as our teams alright (aimed firmly at others northyorksbear) Has happened before. Did Edinburgh not get to keep Katajisto at reserve for another month one year due to him being at Cub Scouts or some meaningless meeting. No doubt the new Berwick line up won't get verified and all the haters on here can be happy

Not at all. Can you give me a valid reason why Berwick should not be allowed to redeclare their line up?

Yes we have been poor, yes give us a break but feel sorry for us? Don't think so. For far too long the BSPA have had some sort of agenda against Berwick. Wouldn't even up for discussion if we were discussing the same issue about some other clubs

Reading a lot of the recent posts regarding Gappmaier average for redeclaring a new team. The rule being 4H/4A matches which Dany has not completed. Suggestions that his 3H/3A average should be used are nothing short of farcical. Berwick have had a terrible start to the season and are firmly rooted to the bottom of the league, despite this crowds at Berwick have been very good thus far. With this in mind the Berwick promotion have made changes to the riding line up to try and get results and hopefully keep the crowds coming back. In recent times there has been instances of clubs benefiting from riders missing meetings (dodgy airport burgers, no flights back, bizarre European meetings) which have resulted in riders scoring well in false positions in there teams and even ending up in Championship winning teams. For the best interest of the sport Berwick should be allowed to track their revised line up and for once the BSPA won't have it in for Berwick Bandits

Any news on young Kieran Douglas after he took a nasty tumble on Thursday night? Also anybody know how last night's practice went?

Tbf Jimmy Krankie could get a game for The Rangers just now. The Bandits spoiled a great sporting day for me yesterday but I'll be there every week still in hope we can salvage this season.

He made Gjedde look like a superstar round Berwick! Maybe he was having problems but tootling round at the back isn't good enough. Didn't want to be at Berwick which is fine, glad the club have moved on
