    NEW LOOK FOR STAR

Similar story unfortunately. 3 Thursdays, 3 non-arrivals... The office sorted the first 2 weeks very promptly for me, but it's not really sustainable to have to ring them every week!

First meeting-how many riders still alive.

Swindon v ipswich 1974. Only Bernie Leigh has passed from the home team. For Ipswich, just Billy Sanders is no longer with us. Norbold mentions Leo McAuliffe still being around. Sadly, he passed away in 2018.

    Football 2020/21

RIP Paolo Rossi. Shady past with match-fixing, but that hat-trick versus Brazil in '82 lit up a brilliant game.

    F 1 Today's race

The car going through the barrier like that also reminded me of the awful accident that killed Helmuth Koenigg in 1974. The horrendous outcome.of that crash demonstrates all too clearly the benefits of the halo system.

    Pete Seaton

Absolute scumbag... Speedway riders are generally not renowned for their intellect, but Garrity is as thick as mince.

    NEW LOOK FOR STAR

Brilliant service this week. I forgot to renew my subscription and only realised when this week's edition didn't arrive yesterday. Subscription renewed late yesterday morning and mag arrived via this morning's post.

    NEW LOOK FOR STAR

Adopting the cheaper paper is entirely sensible if it means production of the mag is sustainable as a result. The only feedback i would give is it did mean the mag was more crumpled after being shoved through the letterbox. A small price to pay if it allows it to continue.
