DawnG 0 Posted April 3, 2003 Hi All, I know this is a bit of a long shot, but I've just decided to go to Cardiff this year and need to try to get a hotel booked up. . As I haven't been before and I know most of the hotels will be full by now, I wondered if anyone could help point me in the right direction of where I should look at trying to stay. :?:
Shalewhale 0 Posted April 3, 2003 Bristol! No, seriously, you will have to try out in the towns and villages in the Valleys around Cardiff as anything near the City centre will be booked solid. Try for hotels/b+b's in Penarth. Nice area and you can get back there on the train after the GP
Sloop 0 Posted April 3, 2003 Depends how you are travelling DawnG. I only recently (within the last week) booked a room in a hotel in Bridgend, west of Cardiff. Try www.visitwales.com
DawnG 0 Posted April 4, 2003 Thanks Sloop, I'm actually flying down from Glasgow, so I won't have any transport when I get down there, that's why I was looking for somewhere as close or as close to local transport as possible. I know I've left it a bit late, but I'll try the visitwales website.
