Rich 75 Posted January 1, 2004 Went to the 1964 World Final at Gothenburg, I was only 8 at the time, we went on a really old & rattly prop-powered plane from Southend Airport, don't know if that was with the Speedway Touring Club. It was only a day trip, when we got to Gothenburg it was p###ing down, thought it was a rain off till they put tons of sawdust on the track. Briggo 1st, Plechanov 2nd, Fundin 3rd?
