stevebrum 6,821 Posted July 17, 2014 So despite disagreeing you basically confirm what was said. Last season proctor performed at a level he never has before and has not done so since... Thus was punching above his weight.. Man for man they all upped there game that is why we had a great season. Our team building is the fault this season. Proctor started 5.78 and is now marginally down at 5.66. He didn't kick on as looked likely prior to his injury to is the joint biggest reason. The other of course is Woffy who can hardly be called `punching above his weight`. Just a huge disappointment in the EL. Wells is up 5.35 - 5.70 Thorsell up 4.61 - 6.19 The best team is the team that won the title in the end. In the play offs, Wolves were the weakest if the 4 teams and definitely the team to pick - as it proved. You look at your team the season before last and this season and they are on a par results wise. In between, the bulk of the same riders had a great run of form so yes - they did punch above their weight because those same riders are not scoring as well as they did last year. There is no dispute who won what. The fact we qualified was because we did a lot of the hard work earlier in the season. Only Proctor and Woffy are `under-performing. The other 3 are exceeding. my you do struggle to add any intelligence to a debate Never has, never will.
