Beowulf 1,513 Posted May 18, 2018 There was an article in the Wolves v Poole programme, that I thought was worth sharing. The article is written by Mark Sawbridge who is the official historian for Wolverhampton. He has previously written a book about Wolverhampton Speedway and is a well respected member of the speedway researcher community. The article states that Wolverhampton Speedway will be 90 years old this year. Furthermore, it is now the oldest track in the world, because all other older tracks have closed or simply don't exist anymore.
