Heard a little whisper a week or so ago that Louis was looking closely at the SGP 2 talent for recruitment. The Norwegian lad who’s name escapes me was one we are apparently looking at.

I am aware of someone who came on board in the last 12 months as a sponsor & he has been blown away by Louis attitude & professionalism. 

I wouldn't go for that long a tail, while Hodder & Perry have improved on last year, they still aren't a strong reserve pairing. I agree Paul Smith would be out of his depth 25 years after last riding 😆 and wouldn't expect Jack to score much at all in the top 5. Any 2 of the bottom 3 would be an acceptable reserve pairing, but I wouldn't want all 3 pushing one into the top 5.

It’s such a shame others don’t have that same attitude and drive. There’s a lot out there that will do the absolute bare minimum to get by each year. People don’t realise that Louis also paid out of his own pocket, for someone to go canvassing across local areas to every local business big and small, to garner any interest in sponsoring the club. That eventually bore fruit. People inaccurately claim Ipswich are “lucky” because they have a “rich” sponsor who does all the leg work but that simply isn’t true. It’s the hard work of Chris Louis bringing in several partner sponsors, along with the title sponsor, that enables the club to be run efficiently. The consistently healthy crowds (by today’s standards) also obviously help. They’re all contributing factors combined.

I’m referring to those who currently ride in Poland of whom the vast majority will continue to do so. 

I understand but he wouldn't be in the main body for long, after six meetings he would be replaced by a more experienced Hodder at 2 if Hodder does indeed progress. Smith and Perry at 6 & 7 would be a good reserve paring imo.
