  1. You are.If your only here to slag speedway off and wish clubs close, you are a saddo.

My Grandson's team had a footy match at 6.30 tonight.I got home about 8.15pm so no.

They play in the under 10's league. The won 3-0 and my Grandson was man of the match. So I was chuffed...

If you want to check, see the betting thread !!!!!!

And go away.Your like a bad smell.

So not quite such a real fan after all and certainly one who can't spell. Congratulations to your grandson. (You're like a bad smell, by the way)

  2. That would be just great, would'nt it !!...Can British speedway afford to loose another club ????Proper speedway fan you are  ..Homework due is it ?

Cretin! What are you talking about? My first speedway meeting was at the Firs in the early sixties. Can you honestly explain to me the point in continuing with this farce? Speedway in this country has been going down the toilet for some years.

  3. And all of thirty minutes before tapes up Kings Lynn announce no Palm-Toft due to prior commitments.

Sprung that one on the fans didn't they.

Are the people of King's Lynn/North Norfolk/Norfolk really that gullible that they continue to be taken in by this nonsense? Why don't they just close the bloody club and be done with it? It's a joke, an embarrassment, a shambles and a laughing stock.

Disgraceful yet completely typical. I had no intention of being there either tonight as I am washing my hair (I'm bald). Yet another example of an amateurish sports that treats the supporters with contempt. :nono:

  5. I'm glad I'm not a promoter. Poor buster is doing his best to get all meetings in before the cut off and everyone is whinging ( maybe they are Aussies) we will be getting second half for £8 and as for moaning about sunbreaks they don't happen this time of year and extra time for riders with two in a row is just minutes.

Also if they start earlier lots of workers and those who travel a long way might not be able to make it. Come on give the man a break

They have 23 weeks to arrange 14 home meetings and 14 away meetings. Every year we get this late panic in the last two or three weeks of the season when they try to cram everything in. It is yet another pitiful example of how the sport is run. Nothing but amateurish incompetence.

  6. It's late and I have had a 14 hour working day and tired so maybe I am reading wrong, but what's the difference? He didn't turn up and wasn't present amounts to the same thing doesn't it?

Perhaps he turned up but decided not to be present because the floor was slippery and too dangerous to walk on! ;)

  7. That works out quite well anyway - good chance to watch the meeting on BT instead.

Is it on? Rain forecast there as well!

    It's off

King's Lynn finally ready to track a full side and it's called off. Something dodgy going on here?;)

Four weeks left (I believe) to fit in 34 matches. I think the prayer mats will be out for some fine weather. Mr. Guest is going to be busy!!

  8. Just back from Belle Vue, massive respect to all 13 riders for putting on a show in really difficult conditions. Even more so after the last downpour which made the final 4 heats incredibly tough - visibility must have been next to nil!

Congrats to the Aces on the win, but Kings Lynn fans should be proud of their team tonight, bags of guts & effort, thought they were terrific.

I am sure that there are some riders who would have refused to ride in those conditions tonight ;)

  9. He could of had a sicknote for six months. It makes no difference as he could still of ridden the following night, if he declared himself fit.

If someone has been signed off as unfit to work by a qualified medical professional and then choose to ignore it, there are potentially serious implications if something goes wrong. (Not wishing to be pedantic, it's could have and could still have)

  10. All of British speedway is talking about? It's just you! Why do you feel the need to see a medical certificate? In your work, a medical certificate is between you and the HR department - or for transparency are you wanting it posted on the notice board /intranet. The SCB have ruled and they are satisfied - why is that not good enough for you?

Probably because I don't automatically digest every bit of rubbish I am fed! Every sickness note that I have ever seen signs an employee/person off for a certain period of time. In answer to a certain poster, what is so confidential about a sickness note that says "you should refrain from undertaking your normal activities for X hours or Y days". Just as a matter of interest, who exactly is Batchelor's HR department?

  11. The SCB are satisfied- that will just need to do! Also, do you really think you are that important that he would scan it and post it on here?

I do not think I am important at all, unlike you. "There is no debate". If there is a magic piece of paper that all of British speedway seems to be talking about, just show the bloody thing. TRANSPARENCY is a wonderful concept! No debate on that!
