Tri-nations Championship
tomazpozrl replied to TwoMinuteWarning's topic in International World of Speedway
Oops. Thanks for correcting me. Yes, our forum is still open. I'll try to post some news and results there, but if and when I have time. Sorry, mate. I mentioned those two, cause I know they post results on their websites. Others can use it too, of course. Give me a day or two and I'll post heat by heat results from Gorican too. -

Thanks guys for your nice words. We've had a couple of offers and one of these offers is still open. I can't tell at this moment what will come out of it but I'll keep you updated if the website relaunches.

I forgot to mention one more news. It is not directly connected to Slovenian speedway as such, but I think it's still worth mentioning. After 4 successfull years I decided to close down my website http://www.speedway.si. The reasons are mainly personal, because my other (personal and business) commitments don't allow me to run such a big website anymore. I hope you liked what we were doing and I also hope it was a good contribution to the international speedway community.

Some more news from Slovenia. Clubs have announced their squads for this season: AMTK Ljubljana: Matej Zagar, Maks Gregoric, Ales Kraljic, Matic Voldrih, Nejc Malesic, Beno Lipnik, Jernej Pecnik, Max Lipnik AMD Krsko: Aleksander Conda, Matija Duh, Samo Kukovica, Aljosa Remih, Marjan Bilobrk (3 more junior could be added) ST Lendava: Denis Stojs, Ladislav Vida, Dalibor Bot Slovenian representatives in various World and European championship will be announced after first two meetings of senior and junior championships, on April 17th.
-
I've just noticed a mistake I made. I've switched the meetings in Lendava and Donji Kraljevec on April 10th and 11th around. So, the meeting in Donji Kraljevec will be on April 10th and the meeting in Lendava will be on April 11th. This change was done to avoid the clash with Polish extraleague on April 11th, as Zagar and Pavlic would have to miss their meetings in Poland.

Well, Slovenian GP was also better attended this year, at least judging by the number of tickets actually sold. But that didn't help ... -
Yes, that's what that article basically says. But the FIM press release with the 2010 calendar still has the "Speedway World Cup" name: http://www.fim-live.com/fileadmin/alfresco...0_Calendars.pdf
