  1. No, it was a very informed statement, we in the UK aren't used to that

  3. But both get higher attendances than Polish GP's get (as they are bigger stadia of course). AND they get bigger attendances than the SEC gets, Gdansk and Rzszow were half full last year.

    Leicester 2014 . Elite

I think we get the fact that you don't like the track and you don't like the promoter, you have made your stance 100% clear. What do you think to the team?

You don't have to take an interest, feel free to stay in the 1950's, it's a free country
  7. Welcome to Russia! Part of the national psyche I am afraid. Interesting stuff though
  8. Well even if the Poles don't want to go, I quite fancy a trip there!

Leicester do actually have a team? I think it was mentioned on page 30

101 pages either whinging about or defending the Leicester track. I am actually getting quite curious and might just go now when the Aces are in town!
  11. Yes the bends do look pretty square on rather than oval. 317 meters is probably 20 Metres too long with those corners
  12. I have never been, so could someone answer for me: 1. Why did Helmsley and Ermolenko fall out? 2. What is wrong with the track shape?
  13. My god you guys are never happy?! Sounds like a fantastic venue for a GP in Poland.

    Sayfutdinov Out Of Gp's

I don't know what his circumstances actually are, maybe he was hoping for a sponsor who didn't cone through, maybe his deal with Torun was under threat if he participated on all those Saturdays before a GP, but as he pulled out late, rather than when Gollob did, I don't think it was because he was siding with the Europeans. You think different, good for you I would think if BSI thought Onesport were trying to get riders not to participate in the GP, they would want to take the GP away. If Onesport thought BSI were looking to screw their series, they wouldn't want to stage one. Mutual interest not to stage the GP. Apparently a load of other tracks want to stage a GP in Poland.

    Sayfutdinov Out Of Gp's

And Torun are staging a GP, so why hasn't he pulled that as well? I am sure if BSI and Onesport hatedxeachbither as much as you speculate they do, they would have gone their separate ways.

    Sayfutdinov Out Of Gp's

Still don't believe that had anything to do with it
  17. BSI did a lot to promote Tai as World Champion in the UK, tv and radio appearances galore. Many more people I know have heard of him after the media interest in him at the end of last season. As for the European Champion......well he isn't Polish is he........so nothing. Can't say i agree with much of that at all

    Sayfutdinov Out Of Gp's

Sayfutdinov has not pulled out because of solidarity with Onesport, surely that is obvious in the statements he makes publically. He has been screwed over by Bydgoszcz and Czestochowa and doesn't feel he can prepare for a 12 meeting series and take on Woofy and Ward. Plus the fact if Onesport are this all omnipotent organisation, the speedway riders best friend, why did Woffinden say no to it? Surely it's the next best thing to being World Champion, look at the publicity Vaculik has had from it ?! He's still unknown in Slovakia, such is the Onesport publicity machine.

I think they may have overpaid for it?

    Sayfutdinov Out Of Gp's

To me, Sayfutdinov isn't in a great place emotionally right now. Last season he got injured and lost his chance for the world title, got stiffed financially by his main employer, whose income he must have budgeted into his outlay on equipment, staff, etc, and sadly lost his father, like Tai, he lost a man who was really influential in his life. Honestly, I don't blame him for having a year out, not sure this spat with FIM v FIM Europe had much to do with it. Good luck to him in 2014, a year where he is one of 5 heat leaders may give him the breathing space to get his head back together.

6 Of The 15 Gp In El Next Season

And offer these leagues what exactly?

6 Of The 15 Gp In El Next Season

At least the league is more UK focused than ever before, which is what we need if we are ever to reignite British participation on the World stage again. Let's keep it going and now look to develop training facilities around the country
  23. The SEC has a limited effect on the UK season because only a few riders are affected( although Coventry is one SCB). It probably effects the Polish League more, 4 more Saturday nights driving through the night to get to league fixtures on a Sunday. Not sure the Polish league teams will like it in two years when it isn't a Polish dominated venue event. None of my team are involved so I don't care what they do with the SEC. Enjoyable to watch Laguta, otherwise it is a watered down SGP event in my eyes. Would watch it on Eurosport and if one came local to BV in the UK, but it isn't as good as a SGP event in my eyes.
