Thanks for the spreadsheet although I am having problems using it - maybe someone can help. All cells appear to be protected so you cannot enter or overide any information i.e replacement riders, entering riders for the semi finals and finals. Also I will not be able to enter riders for GP2,3 and so on.

I have (accidently) seen Chas n Dave live and although they would not be my choice of pre-meting entertainment for such a prestigous event they were very entertaining and have an annoying nack of making you sing along and enjoy it - even when you are adamant you won't and you will be surprised at how many songs you actually know. No I wouldn't pay money to see them - but I haven't, I have paid money to see Speedway.

Walkabout at the top of St Marys Street (next to Travelodge) is the best place for the footie - they have a massive screen and was the only place showing England last time England played on GP weekend

The feeling around Cardiff during the day as the atmosphere builds is amazing - seeing so many Speedway fans is just amazing and then when you get in the stadium and start time approaches... well for the first timers you quite simply will not have experienced anything like it - it's sending tingles up my spine just thinking about it. Bring your air-horns, your flags, your banners, dress up like a loon - do whatever you want and enjoy it.

I Thought people might be intersted to know that the FA have announced that England will play Jamaica in a World Cup warm-up at Wembley on the day of the Cardiff GP (Saturday 3rd June). Kick -off is 2pm. The last time England played on the day of the GP (2002 I think) It seemed that the Walkabout bar on St Mary's Street was about the only place showing it - but they have a huge screen and the atmosphere was superb so that's where I will be heading.

After being let down by a mate, I now have 1 ticket going for the British Grand Prix at the Millenium Stadium, Cardiff this weekend. It is a good seat in block M31 which is middle tier on the back straight just after the second bend. It is valued at £50 but I am open to offers. As it is the British Grand Prix and we should all be backing the Brit riders, I would imagine that Union Jacks would be more appropriate than any others. Flags of St Georges not popular with the locals!!!

Just checked back on wayahead.com and they have updated their webpage. They are no longer taking bookings online. Tickets definately available on the day. There are usually little kiosks dotted around the area near the stadium where you can buy tickets from and last year there was a permanent shop/ticket office set up aswell. If you look on the wayahead ticket office website they are still selling tickets on line but it states you have to pick the tickets up on the day from the box office so it must be somewhere nearby. www.wayahead.com Best bet is to keep checking the GP website: www.speedwayworld.tv Hope this helps!!

Only a few days to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't forget your flags, banners and most importantly your air horns (or something to make a noise with!) We need to make the atmosphere bigger and better than last year. Still ain't got tickets? - you can get them on the day and the weather looks fantastic for cardiff this weekend! ROLL ON SATURDAY

Tickets have been available on the day in both previous years so I assume that it will be the same this year. They have box offices dotted near & around the stadium - or there are the touts.

To clear this us... There is NOT a total ban on air horns at Cardiff this year. BSI have announced that they will be restricting the sale of their own airhorns/refills on sale outside the stadium on the day. You will still be able to buy them on the day but I assume there wont be many. So your best bet is to buy plenty of them from your local track shop. It will be cheaper aswell and you will be putting money back into your club at the same time. With 2 weeks to go you aint got long! WE WILL NOT BE BEATEN - LETS MAKE IT LOUDER THAN EVER!
