  1. they have said races will be protected whether that is 1/2 or all we will have to wait for full statement
  2. after reading John Cooks piece on the Lakeside website , it appears to me the term NL, may not be strictly true as he indicates Adam Ellis will be allocated to them, (correct me if im wrong but under current rules wouldnt Adam be ineligible to NL in 2014 due to his PL ave, but John has stated he will be eligible for all 3 leagues), and the expectation that Adam will be at Lakeside indicates that the asset issue may come into force. imo i will await for full details, before judgement but imo they have tried to reduce costs/ potentially keep top riders (up to each club how it builds its top 5) and give British youngsters (not 2nd rate halfhearted foreigners such as stachrya/ gizatulin etc) a chance to race with higher standard riders, all these to me fall into what is needed, eg Wolves could keep Tai and introduce say Ashley Morris/ KL could keep NKI and introduce Kerr/Lambert, also we get 2+2 fixtures which is what we have wanted as well, im optimistic on it all.

    Rebels 2014

How about this. Nick Josh Alex Jack holder 5pts Charlie Brady If brady is on 3 (imo should be a 5) leaves I think 5.47 which kyle would fit if brady is 5 then leaves 3.47 maybe olly or lewis in then

    Nsw U21/u16 Champs

dont think the field was overly strong, but you can only beat whats in front of you. dont see you in this section much statman, or are you just letting us know how 2 of the 2014 rebels are doing ?

    Rebels 2014

I'm sorry but I don't see how Brady can come in on a 3, no offence to the lad as have never met him but he has done aussie u21, Danish el, and last of all I don't understand how you can be a 5 in 2013 then a 3 a year later. Let's be real he will have no allegiance to gb.
  6. i think youve totally misread the above posts i agree totally with this, and it must stop, the next will possibly be Brady Kurtz, as i recall last winter he didnt have a uk passport so would have been a 5, but can now apply for one and be a 3 pointer, and has been racing top league in Denmark, sorry nothing personal to the lad but he will never be british i suspect so should remain as original a 5 pointer
  7. perhaps bunyan is wildcard in nz again and that gives him time to get back
  8. milik always impressive in czecho, just no where else usually
  9. Freddie been riding like that quite a bit this season getting desperate perhaps, gp place on the line, no longer top dog at Monmore, think Doyle just wanted to cut across in retaliation but Freddie clipped his back wheel
  10. i do see why this is being looked at and fully agree with the prospect of major manufacturers coming into the sport, something that has been tried in the past, speedway was seen by honda as a minority sport when speedway was pretty big still. but getting back to the engines, the rules would have to be changed totally, petrol, gearboxes, wet clutch as opposed to dry etc, i know not hard to do but many are saying bring it into nl now, so what does the lad doubling into pl have to do have one of these and his usual speedway bikes for pl, that makes it expensive. vince you say the parts last longer, but why is this, surely conrods/pistons etc are made of the same materials regardless of the sport, if not why not, if it is due to petrol being used and not methanol, surely it would be of more benefit to everyone to look at petrol again (i know it was tried before),then riders would not have to just dump there current equipment and start again, an expense thast would put many out of the sport as you would have no market to sell your gm/jawa to. again sorry for my original negativty and i am reading what everyone is saying, but it seems very kneejerk, and cant see that it will help speedway in its current state, which is primarily down to lack of crowds due to poor promotion/poor stadia (not always speedway promotions fault). i dont believe it will bring more riders into the sport either, this can only be done with tracks and tracktime being more available to those that want to try it.
  11. dont see the point, mx engines are not really readily available off the shelf,(you genrally buy the whole bike, not an engine) probably less so than a speedway engine,, if you go onto manufacturerers websites parts are not much cheaper, ie valves, pistons, rods etc (good standard), what happens to the gearbox, can see the radiator going in a first bend pile up (expensive), do you run on petrol which has already been ruled against in speedway or methanol then you have the same wear problems on the engine. negative view , yes, and have explained my reasons why.

    Pl Play-offs

I must admit I have to agree with lionking , leics were Above redcar before losing at Newcastle so to drop below is strange and redcar to go through imo is wrong if the Newcastle v leics match was pp leics would be in 6th. Not too late for scb/bspa to change as has been proven with kl/pboro ruling this week

    Pl Play-offs

Just a thought if rye/redcar is called off and not held before cut off date, who goes through, redcar or leicester?
  15. is palm toft going to be there for scunny now?
  16. dislike, im trying to watch speedway and read about speedway please
  17. thank you still stand by it though still get that race on youtube with him passing billy and i think tacey on the line, like you say class and exciting
  18. speedway forum dont give a **** about murray and tennis
  19. lewis is scoring well this year (incl poland) and seems to have a good attitude at long last, take the blinkers off of past problems with him, damn site better than harris at this present time, so is ben and richie as i have said on the gb team thread start this year for the future, you may even get a surprise this year.
  20. this is a serious event as is the WORLD U21 championships, (oh yes , run the same day), this is the sort of event our riders should be entered into guys like birks/auty/cook/worrall etc should be doing these for the experience racing against some decent opposition on different tracks can only be good for them.
  21. no not just from gp performance on craig, just looking at him in general, i just think at times he is not hard enough and can roll it at times when he could push like i say that is my only critisiscm of him other than that he has got it, just the others as i say imo are more forceful when needed

    Wolverhampton 2013

as has been said darcy says he is back at poole and i think you may find josh g there with him
  23. my thoughts are, tai, worrall, bridger, barker tai, speaks for himself, worrall, esp at lynn rising talent not phased by anyone bridger, this year really has sorted himself out a lot wont give him their vote due to previous antics/actions but i do believe he has shown enough to warrant it. barker, again like worrall not phased is riding well at the moment against everyone and will give it his all left out cook, feels he is nearly there but if doesnt gate not always the most committed, as proved at cardiff harris , sorry past it, should never have been w/c at cardiff, not the same guy i cheered on to win cardiff years ago, the past is the past auty, like him in league racing but sorry not going to get any better and gating is shocking something he should have corrected by now howarth, shouldnt be in the squad, lawson and birks at this time are way ahead of him but he will possibly get there in couple of years kennett, earlier in season i would of put ed in but has gone off boil lately, king, again like autyin league but never going to get any better time to move froward, a bit like the danes have done, a lot wont give us much hope anyway so use it to blood some young guys like lewis and richie, cook just needs to harden up a bit and is there then, a lot of youngster (u25) that are showing promise for the future and imo it is a shame more of them are not being used in the gb / aus tests that are taking place.

    Parken Gp 2013

imo, watching countless replays you can see that emil did roll it off a bit, everyone knows you cant just shut off a speedway bike it causes problems in itself if you do, i felt, again watching replays, zagar just lifted/twitched slightly to the right also he had a quick look to the right to see where emil was, i dont think he intentially wanted emil to crash but had shut the door too much. imo the right decision. good gp, not as good as bydgoszc but still some great racing especially from the young guns, shame about freddie and aj atb to both just a thought, if both miss the next gp which is possible, obviously we have the dross dryml back in but who is next reserve
