yes but this side should win plenty of meetings.

you need to check Nicholls away 2016 average and you have the 2016 Premiership top average rider. Plus Bomber. Not many sides will be matching that strength in depth with the 50 point average.

You have a good solid side here, all try hard and are racers. I read that Scott Nicholls will still be doing the GP stuff on BTSport so that may need a juggle on fixtures.

You must work for the BPSA. Dont bother replying because I can't be bothered reading it. Nor anything else on this thread. Negativity is a big reason why speedway is in such a poor state. People who won't open there eyes to new ideas just because 'we've always done it this way'.

it's his lack of willing to investigate by saying we've never done it before so why change now. IF everyone had that attitude in life we would still be cavemen. Why not open up your mind and try to see if savings can be made. If a rider can cut costs then promoters can justifiably pay less to a rider to save money themselves.

Rob Godfrey is playing the role of an Ostrich by sticking his head in the sand and ignoring some excellent advice from those who know better than him. BPSA again pathetic.

Heat 13 and 15 are just 2 heats. Teams won't field GP stars in the main so they won't be as strong in those heats as well. Holder gone and probably Iversen too.

Bar the odd GP star every team will look like a good 2016 Championship side. Holder already out the plans for Poole, Zagar unlikely to be back. If Bomber and Scott had ridden in the 2016 Championship they would have done very well against that level of opposition. They may not consistently beat GP riders but will beat anyone else regularly so you have the making of a decent team at Rye. Nicholls is a quality rider at the small technical tracks..
  10. Won't be doing it next year.
  11. Where did I say you couldn't bring in Greg Hancock. Get the chip off your shoulder.

Muddllo and Chris Holder are tweeting about the new averages not helping them and that being successful is now penalised. Tough on the Poole guys but had to smile as these moves are to benefit the sport as a whole.
  13. Middlo may or may not be the best but he gets a superb team each year with some fancy guests in the play off's. Two seasons ago he had Hancock come into the team, he is an excellent pro so he would be easy, but Middlo didn't inspire Lindback this year did he !! The best managers have a big chequebook behind them.

@SpeedwayGB what happens to riders who will have converted avg over 12 eg Doyle? Will it be capped? Certain to fall once they get proper avg EL average to be multiplied by 1.4 and after first set of averages new figure applies. @SpeedwayGB e.g a rider has Champ average of 9 but is averaging 6.5 in Prem, what average is used for team changes? SpeedwayGB ‏@SpeedwayGB 3h 3 hours ago SpeedwayGB Retweeted Josh Gudgeon The average of the relevant league for a rider with two averages.

But two more Prem teams so thats 14 extra places to fill. We'll lose some GP riders because of the averages x 1.4 and because others can only do 3 leagues. I feel sorry for Danish riders like Anderson and Iversen who have always supported GB racing and always turn up to do there best. They may not be able to ride here because of a stupid Polish rule which must be some kind of restraint of trade. They will have to decide between Sweden and GB.

doubt we'll have many GP riders to worry about with the averages and Polish 3 league rule.

yes. I think Jason Doyle is looking to treble up and has mentioned Buxton. Not sure what his average will be ?? Chris Holder just said on Twitter he could be Poole and Plymouth.
