Why have they laid it now and not just before the GP. -
Lindgren is very lucky but it must be last chance saloon for him. That might kick him up the derriere.

You're occasionally quite aggressive which isn't nice. Have you a personal problem you wish to share, maybe we can help you with group therapy. I'm sure your fellow forum members would be sympathetic. The Brits weren't rubbish. Maybe not world champion level but Harris and Nicholls were both top 8 at times. That is not rubbish.

he was 2nd in 2011, 9th net 8th in 2012, and had a bad injury in 2013. Wouldn't call that "pretty dreadful". Bad season this year but 6 weeks out with broken bones wouldn't help..

That would be inconsistent with running a SGP at Malilla in a forest 100 miles from anything interesting. It takes all sorts maybe. -
Gp Final 3210 Against 6420
Mark replied to racers and royals's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Surely the cream at the top should get rewarded. Would you say it's unfair that a rider who only sneaks in the semi's with 7 points, and maybe count back applied, can then win 2 more races to get 13 points -

Looks like the SWC has been pushed back to August as Cardiff is taking place in the 2013 slot. Does Kings Lynn have the qualifier, do you know the date ? -

good idea -
would Meidzinski earn a WC after his Torun win or too many Polish riders ?
-
agree he does ride as safely as possible. You don't ride in every GP since 1854 unless your careful with injury. He is steady to watch but you win nothing when picking yourself out the air fence like Emil does each year.

Why Can't All Speedway Be Like This
Mark replied to PHILIPRISING's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Your right but promotions should look at themselves. You would know more but maybe some have taken the Sky money and done very little to improve the product for it. Cant agree about Poole's track. Riders were taking off and leaving the ground when hitting a ridge entering bend 1. Have a look at the replay when Andersen and Josh G came together as an example. The track only has one line up by the fence after a few heats. Didn't the Poole team complain earlier in the season ? -
Harsh comment on Pearson. he may lose work but he obviously loves the sport. he's hardly short of a job with darts and football and Dudley is he.

agree about kennett. his constant looking over the shoulder is pointless with his speed as he would do better to go flat out -
Poole V Swindon 30 September 2013 Second Leg
Mark replied to Vincent Vega's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Swindon were poor tonight. Not lacking effort but a few below form particularly Batchelor who talks a good game but goes missing on the big nights. Having a track with one line doesn't help unless your a gater. Hope Brum win the final as they have been the best team all season and won the league. That is not anti Poole just fact. well done to Poole for a good win. a good final awaits -

If it is raining ,covers on or off, then prep time on the track will be shortened. With the problems Poole have had this season that would be a worry for good racing -

The article doesn't say Sky are pulling out. Nobody knows yet and there is always Eurosport. Riders can still ride over here but they need to accept less money. Its up to them. If there is no TV money then the promotors / owners have themselves to blame for past mismanagement of the sport.. -
