Rehurt his shoulder guesting at Ipswich. Junior

    Rye House 2017

My understanding is that Rye would have had to fit the bill for both teams so with out Bomber perhaps didnt see it as viable. Junior

Really , take into account the KOC and its over 5 but hey ho it is what it is. Junior

Let's not get too carried away this week was the first time he's been beaten in heat 2 , the previous meeting he scored paid 8 beating Graz and Lawson, granted his away forms not great but he's not alone there. He will soon drop to number 7 as well which means easier rides. And his form for Sheffield has been very good. I think he's riding injured , when you can't lift your arm over your shoulder something's not right , but he's not the type to groan and will soldier on for as long as possible because he loves to ride. Junior

    Redcar 2017

Did the same to Branford sacked him then asked him to continue riding because the new rider wasn't available yet, thought with Havelock gone things may have improved , wonder if they went to the expense of a phone call or just a text. Junior

    Sheffield V Redcar 11.05.17

Correct Steve he didn't have it today it was one of Steadys he felt Robs engines were slow and he proved that to be correct, but the search is on for a better engine , you can't polish a terd as they say , I know one of his engines his dad bought second hand in 2011.Regardless he will try his best with what he has available. Sheffield V Redcar 11.05.17

Did you think Rob looked quicker, he was on a borrowed engine I believe, certainly his winning race time was equal to most race wins. Junior
  9. Rob hurt his shoulder at Rye House , it's been a problem since he damaged the rotor cuff while at Edinburgh and he re aggravated it ,but he plans to just ride though the pain at this stage. Junior
  10. I'm sure Sheffield would be happy with that with Josh and Bjerre missing and Rob far from fit. Junior

Obviously never seen a meeting at Gillman in adelaide then, put some teeth on and move the wheel back. Junior

    Rye House V Poole 22/4/17. 7pm.

Slick tracks produce closer racing partly because most riders can ride them which is not the case with grippy tracks. Interesting that the heat one time was the same as Rob set last meeting there in the NL league last season. I believe there has been a promise of dirt arriving but the place they get shale has said its still too wet. Junior
  13. He did win a race and finish with paid ten , I'm sure he would take that. And with some new engines on the way hopefully more to come , oh and you can quote me on that. Junior

    Rye House 2017

Wrong Branfords average was 4.6 at the end of the season and has been stated would have been a lot higher had his guest rides been included, his Rye average was over 6 and 6 of those 9 meetings were away. Anyway how do you know Bates wasnt asked and turned it down when teams were being selected , the Rye supporters and promoters are happy with Rob and thats who counts. Bates will get fixed up as the season goes on no doubt as he does have talent. Junior

What was his away average this season, i know it was awful the season before but it was his first look at a lot of tracks. Should have been better this season, I know Rob had to take a lot of his rides away the season before. Junior

What's the averages of James compared to Max, I really doubted Max would return so there could be a spot available. Junior

Time will tell but a pointless debate really, your talking about coming in and doing one off meetings, certainly had a great race with Bates at Rye and got the honours and had his measure at Sommerset when they met so no concern really, hope the seasons not too far away because the forums just getting stale with twit for tat squabling.OOPs ive joined in. Rye House 2017

Rob has been proving a lot of people wrong the last 2 seasons and will continue to do so, Marky had a sook a few seasons ago if i remember , because Rob showed a bit too much passion for him and still hasnt got over it , but like has been said , thats why the people in the know the Rye fans and management wanted him back because he does have a passion for the sport and doesnt take losing lightly. Sheffield 2017

To be fair he only got to the first corner in the first race , the cup final he scored 7 points and his heat 2 time was only a fraction outside Craig Cooks heat 1 time. Is there a we won't sign ex Monarchs mentality maybe. Junior I agree it would be nice for the incoming riders to be able to seek local sponsors in time to put them on the team kevlars. Junior

    Sheffield 2017

Not quiet sure about that managed to score 8 there with Rye House and according to the updates was leading Howarth for a few laps before clipping the fence. From what ive been told about the track you need fast engines which if true Rob will need to invest in which im sure he will. Junior

My gut feeling is they will miss out on both , Clegg wanted away anyhow and as you say Bewley on everyone's shopping list. Junior

Must have been reading a different news story because and I quote, it's unlikely we can fit Max and Dan but we are desperate to sign Bewley tells me all I need to know. Junior
