Midland Red replied to racers and royals's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Overall, Pearson hadn’t a clue what was going on, apart from the fact it’s 42 heats over two days, then a race between 2nd and 3rd, and a final where the World Champions will be decided over 60 seconds Is there a home he can go to? -

Team GB???? I thought that it was going to be, properly, "Great Britain" instead of that nonsense Americanisation crap -
Following recent meetings being cut short due to curfews, and subsequent discussion/argument as to their validity, is it now time for a rule to be introduced that, for every meeting, a cut-off time is printed in the programme within the details of officials and riders for the meeting - then, should a curfew be necessary, there can be no misunderstanding and the spectators are well aware of the situation

Gone fishin' -
As I said I elsewhere, there has to be some form of rider control
-
That will lead to repetitive fixtures, when one attraction of one "big" league would be the variety of opponents through the season

Track full of holes - rotten luck? -
The racing may have done, but Sir Shouty . . . . Is there no one else to do this job for British viewers? Please!
-
There has to be a form of rider control such as we had years ago, so the "richer" (less poor) clubs would be unable to accumulate the cream of the crop
