Where does it say solos only?

Making up the rules as you go along?
Your ball, I guess
Still think he’d be worth a footnote, probably more than the many spectators mentioned

Still rode on grass, though - sadly died following a track crash

For me, it has to be Ronnie Moore

If I recall Peter York stepped in what became a very diluted position of power and never got the co-operation of the BSPA. During his short tenure he came across all sorts of problems and it didn't help matters that the two leagues had different administrations with very different agendas but that was to be expected considering the in-rivalry amongst the speedway fraternity hence the problems that continue to exist within the sport.
Send for Nelson Mills-Baldwin and the RAC!

Oh well we will have to wait and see. Not the end of the world if we bomb out and I have enjoyed visiting different tracks this year. Certainly we have the best team this year but all it takes is to under perform in one meeting for the season to be over.
Just nice to be able to attend and watch live racing after the last 18 months of Covid.
So, Shoveller, are you against the play-off system?

Couldn’t a Tesco van from nearby Beaumont Leys have guested in place of the ambulance?

Conveniently left out Grasstrack, which the site mentions!
It wasn’t meant as a crappy remark, more tongue in cheek, that AG was left out, for no immediately clear reason.
It’s a great site, well done, but I do think there’s room for AG’s inclusion.
