  1. Just added on drivvle if you ask me, just concentrate on the racing product rather than stop start with all the technical stuff that basically no-one needs to know about, anyone watching it for the first time would just be confused, probably the last season sky will cover it anyway.
  2. Interesting comments made in this weeks speedway star by Paul Ackroyd, several riders promised to ride in this event however they have since chosen to ride in one or both of the other meetings taking place, two of them having received money from the fund last year. Disgusting!

  4. Just renewed my contract with Sky, so no i will not be cancelling, besides still got the elite league to watch (for this season anyway).

    Sky Fixtures

At least it makes a change from somerset again, although i am sure sky will show another premier league match during the season.
  6. Well on a positive note, fans may return to the terraces, on a saturday night without the option of sitting in watching the grand prix.
  7. And a train station on the main east coast line. bottom line is, topinka's meeting should never have been allowed to be staged on the friday, I thought more of speedway riders, the amount of serious injuries last season and riders being killed, have some of the grand prix riders spared a thought for them? Its a chance for all to put something back into speedway, and fair play for all those agreeing to attend the ben fund so far. Chris harris for example can be bothered to make the trip to ride on sat then back to wolves for the sunday meeting, so the travelling can't be an issue can it??? Are they all really chasing the money for these testimonial meetings?
  8. Riders for the Ben Fund 2013 as follows: Freddie Lindgren, Ludvig Lingren, Peter Karlsson, Tai Woffinden, Adam Skornicki, Nicki Pedersen, Niels-Kristian Iversen, Andreas Jonsson, Krzysztof Kasprzak, Davey Watt, Rory Schlein, Troy Batchelor, Chris Harris, Scott Nicholls, Hans Andersen. Oh no wait that's the line up for lindgrens testimonial!
  9. cook and piper confirmed according to edinburgh evening news.Should ask jason bunyan he's a grand prix rider!
  10. bold statement....time will tell though, and time is now running out.
  11. 3 Gp Riders for the bob kilby meeting, still none for the ben fund....what is going on? (dont wanna travel north) in fact i hope no grand prix riders turn up for the ben fund now. Is money there priority?
  12. Excellent letter in the speedway star this week from Bert Harkins, with the last paragraph asking all fans to show there support to the Ben Fund at Berwick on March 9th. Thanks Bert!
  13. Looking at last years line up, Hougard, B Pedersen, N Pedersen, K Bjerre, Iversen, N Klindt and H Andersen The Carlsberg danes don't travel north.
  14. It's turning out to be a bit dissapointing regarding this meeting, with the grand prix riders doing topinka's and lindgrens meetings, the ben fund should be priorty over both these meetings imo, after all it is in aid of the riders and the fans have supported this fund, if it is a case of the riders cannot be bothered to travel up for this meeting (hope i am wrong) then it is pity on them to say the least, Hopefully the grand prix riders will take part in this event.

  17. Wonder what Chris Louis has got to say about this??
  18. Do you ever give up???? you realy are taking this one badly?!
  19. just the same old story every year and nothing changes.....who will be next to drop out????? and another wedding invitation gets sent out. Guess us fans just have to accept it and move on.
  20. Okay gonna throw this one in.....what if they do have qualifying rounds and teams drop out like scunthorpe have, what happens then who goes through? is it by invitation again??? Seems its a no win situation? The pairs will be the next farce who's in or not in.
  21. Why is it ridiculous?? averages dictate what teams qualify.
  22. Hmm i think the word you are looking is Jealousy! We have a polyfoam fence (first in the premier league) Have had and FIM event (hopefully more to follow) And correct me if i am wrong....but the first team to ever use covers in this country. Hardly something to moan about is it?
  23. Judging by the over 2000 crowd then yes is the answer to your question.
