I've noticed a fair few Poles at the first 2 meetings, so the Magic effect is working. Nobody seems to have cottoned on yet that Oxford and Wroclaw are twinned, so that could give plenty of opportunities for more publicity.
i did email the club pointing this out and suggested some kind of club partnership but no response

good to see a new timing partner in the watch company omolagato helping british speedway mr kalra the owner of the company is heavily invested in motorsport and hopefully like what he sees in the sport

18 hours ago, Col said:Suspect there will be an agreed limit per team on Ekstraliga riders with a Prem average of above a certain level... And it would be sensible to not sign to riders who ride for the same Ekstraliga team.
Surely British Speedway has not agreed to play second fiddle to lower Polish leagues?
Let's be honest British speedway signed a deal with an engine manufacturer and that worked well then signed a deal for tyres you can't use at Peterbrough as they fall apart I'm guessing we will be behind Poland under 11,s in the pecking order

as all teams have used chris harris at some point or another this season as a guest he will have to race every heat for every club they have decided to just hand him the title and save the money
-
season tickets gaurantee that amount of money even if you go or dont ,so if you paid for the weeks you went(maybe through illness or holidays) the club would lose money but you would retrain money so by paying upfront the club already has your money and isnt really bothered if you go or not

3 hours ago, lisa-colette said:If another rider agreed to do the away ones, I wonder if they would sanction it? A while ago they had doubling up riders sharing one of the reserve positions, so why not do it in the no1 position? *no idea what Tai's average is*
how would you work out averages for these riders as they wouldnt do 4 home 4 away to get averages mind you bv would like tai on a 7.something average every year
also you would pay tai a fortune just to ride home while someone else would be paid less and incure all travel costs
as much as i would love to see tai riding here again for me you either sign up to do our league or you dont no half measures

i would love to see crump at oxford but doubt it will happen

the rising star programme will be renamed falling star programme to allow older possible retired riders the chance to further their careers and just to clarify josh bates will be a 1 star either way
