Horton and Sandhu? Horton and Sandhu?

There is no easy solution that's why it has dragged on for several years ,a site was muted not far from Brandon but that application was turned down by Rugby BC. With all the in fighting between the stox and Speedway now it's a divided cause as well . The only solution would be for Sandhu and Horton to make up and be all kissy Kissy and Rugby BC to grow a pair and sort out a compromise deal at Brandon or find an alternative plot of land for Brandon Estates to develop leaving Brandon alone altogether. If their is a political will to do this is the question ,more money in houses and council tax income I suppose.

Starry ,The crowds would not be viable at Leicester though would they? I would imagine at very best 50% down on current levels which are hardly great. Our only chance of Speedway this year is to remain at Brandon ,there will never be a new stadium as many have already stated. Up the bees.

MP for Rugby Mark Pawsey also said in the Speedway Star a couple of weeks ago that his preferred option would be a scheme similar to Swindons where part of the site would be developed and room left for the Speedway. It all looks very bleak at the moment pleased that Leicester and Belle Vue look like running . I suppose all we can do is wait for the outcome of the meeting with Messrs Horton and Stokes next week. Fingers crossed for a positive update then.

Extreme minority sport in the U.K.? Are you having a laugh ,10 teams in the EIHL and 10 in the second tier . Sheffield v Nottingham Boxing Day sell out crowd of over 9000 Reverse fixture sell out crowd of over 7000. Play off weekends at Nottingham sell out every year . It maybe minority but it's popular.

Read the last paragraph from the Coventry stox press release if that's right ,he had no intention of running in 2017,which all seems weird when he has signed the whole team so they are all screwed over as well.

Tuesday November 29, 2016 WHILST away on my holiday I have heard the news of what has happened to the stadium. I want to assure the fans I am still 100 per cent committed to the Bees racing at Brandon for 2017. However, I would need to see the damage first-hand before further decisions can be made. I wish to thank all speedway and stock car fans for their continued support, and I can confirm speedway still holds the lease for next year. Mick Horton

Sarje ......2015 premier average 5.00 Sarje.......2016 premier average 5.80 I think he is improving but the proof will only be proven on the track .

Crikey me I thought Leonard cohen had shuffled off his mortal coil, his spirit sure lives on in this thread. I partly get the criticism of the team and sarje is a risk on his average but he achieved it by an improved second half of the season at Ipswich now he needs to kick on and prove his worth over a full year with the bees. We have four young brits who are all improving ,Danny is on an upward curve if the bjerre boys get going we will be alright . This side is only just below the limit (compared to 3 points last year) I realise averages will drop but this side can average 45/46 and we must then be in with a play off shout. Up the bees

I haven't counted the days and weeks but he only missed one complete year/season so it was a valid average ,as it seems to be assumed 3 years absence is needsd before an average is reassessed.
