Don't recall him having any issues turning up for the Brummies early on. Admittedly I don't know the full in's and outs, but it does rather irk Doyley is having visa trouble yet Darcy seemingly sails through, certainly I can't think of any black marks Jason has against his name. If you do get him at Leicester, he won't let you down, dependable as they come is Doyley.

It's all very well people saying that, but if no one turns up to watch a poor side, it could soon become no side, that is my biggest concern of all, as current signs suggest things may well play out like that, people won't turn up if they are getting tonked week after week. Sorry but if people think enough people will turn up to make the club viable if the team performs as poorly as it looks, they need a serious reality check, sport is a results business and if they are not forthcoming, neither will be enough through the gate.

Lets be honest, on the Brummies list, only Danny King and Ludvig Lindgren are remotely of any use, quite why we retain so many retired riders and those without a hope in hell of making EL standard, I do not know, I woulden't mind so much if the PL/NL standard riders were kids who could amount to something in future, but I'm not sure a Rusty Harrison or Brent Werner can be classed as ones for the future!.

That better not be even remotely true, stuff the budget constraints, I woulden't have the proverbial taken out of me by paying money to watch that side.

On paper, the signings to date don't inspire great confidence, but 7 riders race on shale in March, not 5 on paper in December. We won't know for sure until a few meetings in.

Auty's out of the equation according to most people. Looking at all the permutations so far, Sundstrom and A N Other at #2 looks the best option to me, would prefer Covatti, but with anyone other than Sundstrom, that's a very average looking 1-5.

Might not be in 12 months if a mediocre looking side has a mediocre season to match, Brum need more fans than just the hardcore to survive, many of the "maybe" crowd will be swayed by the team performance.

Have to agree I'm afraid, there's some people who are saying we are lucky to have a team and I can see their point, my worry however is, if the team looks distinctly mediocre, that's hardly going to entice people through the gate is it ?, it's one things trying to cut costs, but it's rather a moot point if not enough people are turning up to watch an average side.

Pretty much, Harris knocked a point off his average, Nicholls was similarly dire, and Barker was very inconsistent. Heat leaders you don't mind so much if they maintain their average, but 2nd strings and reserves, you really need someone who's going to improve theirs, in 2013 Auty look like a mid 5 was his ceiling.

Auty stagnated somewhat in 2013 it has to be said.

Afraid that's as clear as mud Neil (probably the same for many too), are you saying Poole indeed do get last pick ?. I've no objection to the reverse league finishing system being used for positions 10th - 5th, but in the case of the play offs, the order finished in them should be used for the last 4 picks that the order of the top 4 in the table. Also I'd pick Leicester 10th rather than In Boro's position, the step up from PL to EL is tough enough without being treated as the ghost of a club that by rights should have been in the play offs.
