Gotta say, what an excellent meeting that was tonight. Really enjoyed it.

No-win situation for the ref on that one.
I disagree, looked a fairly easy decision to make IMO.

Ref is wrong again.
Nonsense, an absolute spot on decision.

That's good perhaps you would like to make yourself known at the 4's to Panthers fans and explain your reasons for your senseless unreasonable comments,. I have never threatened anybody in my life action speaks louder than words
Sounds like a threat to me.

Racing will commence next week.
How on earth can you say that with any sort of confidence?!

Not their fault? Who employed the contractors to build the track? Surely the building of a track is equally as specialist as the erecting of the airfence?

It's almost as though Chapman has some sort of axe to grind wih the National Stadium....

I've switched to bt mobile from ee always seem to get a reception (not like ee) £20 a month for unlimited calls and texts bargain
That's odd as BT use EE's signal...

Me being one of them. I'll not be watching that bunch in the re run as a wouldn't bet against it being too this or too that for the poor lambs and it being off again.
You really are a clown.
-
The only people to blame for tonight are the clowns who "prepared" an unfit track.
Why on earth should the riders "give it a go" on an unsafe surface?

Shame Speedway as a whole is so poorly promoted really, fantastic product, just needs the right packaging.
No sh!t Sherlock!

Can anybody tell me if the horrible diversions are still in place at Coventry end of A14 ? Declared not to go to Brandon again till they were all done.
Coming from Cambridge makes the journey home a nightmare.
No, it's pretty straightforward now to get from the M6 onto the A14 and vice versa.

I met Barry a few years ago and asked him this exact question, he just laughed. Nuff said.

SCB top Jon Cook bottom.

Have you never had a couple before 1 o clock on the last working day before Christmas ? I know I have , albeit in the distant past. Be that as it may, the thread that we are now on wasn't started until nearly 5 pm . I don't know if SCB was three sheets to wind or not but look at the chronology. You mentioned first the SS article early in the morning on the thread where it belongs. SCB from reasons best known to himself starts a separate thread with a pejorative title several hours later, adding nothing new apart from some name calling . The mods simply shorten the title down to "Jon Cook ". SCB then starts yet another thread late in the afternoon that is not really anything to do with speedway but simply focusses on, and inflames the use of the word "retard ". Whether he had a skinful or not by that point the third thread is a direct challenge to the mods after they had already fired a shot across the bows by amending the title on the Jon Cook thread, which he then amended yet again and which the mods changed back yet again.
SCB is old enough to be responsible for his own actions, On this or any other forum , when anyone starts flouting the authority of the mods its going to end up in a ban (or suspension ). We told he had been given some warnings, but drunk or not he continued his collision course with the mods, and at one stage he said he didn't care if he got a ban. Well now he has got one. He got his wish , he has made a martyr of himself on what he sees as a point of principle, and he is off the forum for two weeks (so we are told) at the quietest time of the year forum wise. When we stand back from the situation its really a storm in a teacup. SCB will soon be back or not be back depending on what he wants to do , No big deal.
Depending on who you are of course...

A massive statement ask people who you RESPECT? saying that what a pathetic post really PATHETIC have a good think on what you have just said if you av a Brain cell left???
A great thread, great that so many people have different opinions that makes no one right or wrong. The thing i might debate is i think Mauger's best years were 68/73 after that even in a GP series he would of had loads of opposition.
Make your mind up!

B0LLOX!!!
I've tried every which way to explain my position to you and you will not accept it.
You really do leave me with no alternative other than to say SOD OFF!!!
I mean that in the nicest possible way of course.
BWitcher you absolute legend!

A spectacularly ignorant comment, even by your own abysmal standards. As ever, sport is let down by too many of its 'fans'.
You still here? No hissy fit this week then?

Seriously, who actually gives a flying f*** whether speedway gets a mention or not. It's really not important, why would anyone want recognition from an organisation that protects nonces?

These comebacks are a bit primary school Starman!
He's progressing to be fair.
-
For the record, I've since read the article. Jon Cook is a knob, there was no need for calling fans "stupid".
Though to be fair, most of them are.
-
No surprise, is it? No sooner does Buster take over the top job than the plum meetings all get "allocated" to King's Lynn.
BenFund Bonanza in March, GP Challenge in May AND the U-21 World Final in June!
Explanation please, Buster --- in six seasons that Alex Harkess was top man, Edinburgh didn't get a single money-meeting.
Did you really take on this role to make UK speedway better? Or just to line your own pockets?
You see the end of that bell? That's you that is...
